I wonder if we have to follow the advisor's path to romance them? I'm planning to side with Gaspard first playthrough, but I don't really consider myself the brute force type.

I wonder why they released his photo reveal and interview in the same day. Did they do that for any other of the companions?

No, not an advisor it seems, but what exactly is she?  Do we have any insight into that yet?  Why is she up there with the companions?  Is that just happenstance, or is it intentional?  So many questions....

I'd say Morrigan is the real mystery... 

 

I think they put her up intentional to build up tension. She is a recurring character and players want to see her storyarch resolved (myself included).

Sooooo I've been in the Solas thread. I like him. But not more than Cullen! Don't worry. Haha. I have a crushing feeling that he won't be an LI since Patrick Weekes referenced Mordin when asked about it. If that's true, then that really sucks because I will have no companions to romance. I mean, not counting Cullen since he's a NPC and if his romance is done with the feelz it deserves, I may not even Want another romance. But just for sake of variety in multiple playthroughs... It would be nice to have other options and Solas is my only other option.

I did think it was funny that he doesn't get along with Vivienne. I might high five him on the way out of the base while she's looking through the window at another trip to who knows where that she can't go on with us Heehee

Pretty sure it was an error. The interview is apparently gone from the website. That'll probably be officially released tomorrow, so, no "new" stuff until Wednesday.

I pushed that dream to the back burner as soon as it was obvious Cullen would not be one.  I figured if I got lucky and found a follower who interested my Quizzy, then that would be gravy, but I wouldn't expect it. I am just grateful that this game is giving me at least the main things I have wanted....a kick-ass game with fantastic gameplay and the chance to really get to know Cullen.  ​ Seriously, I am so unbelievably thankful that Cullen is an LI, accepting his non-follower status and/or anything else they happen to spring on us will be easy-peasy.

Sigh. I have to remember that I am beyond pleased that Cullen is a romance option this go around. I sure miss him. It's like we were on a roll all of a sudden with Cullen info and now there's nothing happening. Oh Cullen, where art thou?

I am happy for other Cullenites... We are such a passionate group, and we've held on to that passion for years. Don't complain... If nothing else, you will get to romance Cullen, and that's what it's all about, you know? Things could've been worse, much worse.

Yeah, we do need some substantial Cullen info.  I'm starving for it.  I keep telling myself that it won't be long now...that it can't be long now, but wow does that not help at all.  I still get the feeling that if they even show the advisors (which surely they will, right?), Cullen will be last even though he is already fairly well-known.  Idk.  I hope I am wrong.

I was just thinking the same thing...I already know enough of Cullen to make me want more, anything else I look forward to finding out in game. 

But I do hope he does get fair treatment like the others and I am definitely more interested in seeing some great screenshots of him.

Yep, that did sort of stick it to us, didn't it?  I had to talk myself out of raging...and then I had to admit I was rather impressed.  Apparently there's not a whole lot  I can't marvel over when it involves that sexy (ex?) templar.

Since I'm playing a mage, I think I'll do something i haven't before and actually take Cullen's advice and kill all the mages in the chamber. About half my Wardens would agree but I can't usually afford to lose Wynne. And hey, extra lines for Cullen.

You can actually keep Wynne and still kill everyone.

Just dont use the litany, and take your time killing Uldred.

If you don't want to loose Wynne,you can still annul the circle during a conversation with Gregoir after killing Uldred,or by letting Irvin turn into an abomination during the fight with Uldred.I haven't tried the last one but I think that if you don't use the litany of Adrala everyone in the room turn into an abomination eventually.
