Bethany mentions having to avoid them, but it wasn't anything like Kirkwall I assume. 

 

It's funny, when I first played DA2 I had no idea what mages and templars were (well I knew from reading fantasy books that mages were sorcerers, but didn't know about the history of persecution). So when Bethany says, "Kirkwall! There are a lot of templars in Kirkwall, Mother..." it had no impact on me.

 

But after multiple playthroughs, I find myself thinking, WTF were you thinking, Leandra?!?!?!

There's what about 10 Templars at most in Lothering if you count them all. And Ser Bryant seems fairly laid back for a Templar commander. So I guess as long as Bethany and Mage!Hawke didn't do anything too overt the Lothering Templars wouldn't be actively looking for them.

 

Just don't get me started on DA2's plot which a Mage!Hawke as the plot holes are so big you could fly Vader's SSD through them and have room to spare. But that's just what I think

Any news on him as a romance? With sera and Dorian confirmed as both gay companions....it sounds like Iron Bull is bi sexual....it may or may not be safe to assume Cullen as hetero? if they were going that route...I wish we knew...we're supposed to have the most romance options this time around so I would expect more options revealed...

No, John's referring to some "fans" who have been making fanart of Dorian as a white, (and blond) man on Tumblr, when he's clearly of a darker skintone. Many other BW devs are upset as well, Mary Kirby, David Gaider. (Rightly so).
