Well, this has been the best day to pick to wander back in here.  I have been so out of control busy lately that I haven't had time to scratch, let alone gossip and speculate but I'm so pleased to have been a part of this reveal this morning with you all.

The thing is, they said that you can hate the person you're in a romance with, and they can hate you. Sort of like a "dirty secret" romance. SO maybe that evil, angry look on his face is "I hate you, but I want to bed you over this table right now". 

You could get that sort of feel in Fenris' or Anders' romances but mostly with angry face, not scary looks.... This might add extra dimension to my quizzy harassing Cullen. I actually hope there are different pathways to their relationship, it might add something new to my Cullen centric multiple pts

Is it so wrong to hope that sometime during the game he's put in grave danger and our Inquisitor has to rescue him? I keep thinking of this exchange between Anders and Hawke in "Mark of the Assassin":

 

 Anders: Here I always figured you'd be the one coming to spring me from someone's dungeon. I had it all planned. I'd be in the Gallows, templars all around, holding the brand for the Rite of Tranquility. Then you'd burst in and break my chains. And then it would be all about the best way to show my gratitude.

 

Hawke: Did it have anything to do with finding another use for those chains?

I thought that the rivalmance fell a little flat with these two. I wanted more passion, more anger. Angry, forceful kisses. Hair-pulling, fights for dominance. *fans self* is it getting warm in here?

I know right!I love how much "grown"he looks now!From the timid soft spoken recruit to the dutiful knight-captain and now he's the kind of guy that all it takes for him to put others in their place is an angry stare.

Oh I know! Love that he is a MAN now that has come into his own, in all respects it seems. 

 

But maker, this wait is going to be very bittersweet. I think Cullen is going to be impressing a lot of people when he is in his element.
