Okay, so I'm ashamed to admit this: BioWare has a habit of making me legit fall in love with characters. Like, I cry when they die, I feel a sense of loss when the game ends, stuff like that. Does anyone else have that problem?

Cullen is definitely on track for one of my female Inquisitors, possible first depending on Solas status. (Sorry, nerdy, open-minded trumps even hotness)
You know, it's really kind of interesting looking at this thread, because there are so many people praising Cullen for his appearance, and it... means no more to me than static. I cannot see the sex appeal of men at all; it's like looking at a tree or a pillar. And I'm trying to sort of squint and see how the characteristics referred to might be appealing, but on an emotional level at least, so far it's nothing doing.
That's because this is the first time that we have gotten a clear shot of him, so of course we are going to be speaking of the visual. But we also speak plenty about his character, personal story arc and just him in general. We are not a shallow bunch of people that solely concentrate/interested in his physical appearance. If you had read the first page you will see that.

I think I cried for three hours on my first play-through, when I wouldn't let Morrigan sleep with him, and he died. My ex was like "what is your problem?". So just out of spite, I made her play the game. She cried, too. I'm evil.
I can never get Alistair killed I like him too much. 
Even in my ruthless Cousland playthrough I had him exiled even tho executing him made more sense. I couldn't do it.

That's understandable, because you weren't ever really emotionally attached to him to begin with. For us, we're relieved that he still looks good in the new engine. But more than that, it's his blurb that was posted on the Dragon Age website. We see that he is growing as a person, as a leader, and he helped to restore order to Kirkwall. That's a big deal to us. You may not understand it, and that's okay.

I can't blame you really. Cullen looks quite Caucasian as opposed to Dorian who has a more Mediterranean/Persian/Indian mix going on. Some people find one more attractive than the other. It's subjective after all.
Frankly, I'm happy we get TWO hot human men to ogle at irrespective of what gender we play. My eyes thank BioWare. Profusely.
OH Gosh for real? I knew some people from CotP in real life back in the day. Dunno what happened to them after last year, and I haven't been able to devote any time to SWtoR (sad face) but it's my favorite mmo, and I was (very briefly) in this guild like 2 years ago. ((WAVES))
