I think he would have scored above average on his SATs.

Though he would have struggled with the points you get for putting your name on it correctly.

Going back to earlier when we were talking about saying thank you to Cullens artists. Does anyone have a problem with me tweeting Liz on behalf of the Cullen thread?. Obviously I don't speak for everyone and I wouldn't want to do so iff anyone doesn't want me too.

I can't blame you really. Cullen looks quite Caucasian as opposed to Dorian who has a more Mediterranean/Persian/Indian mix going on. Some people find one more attractive than the other. It's subjective after all.

 

Frankly, I'm happy we get TWO hot human men for romances irrespective of what gender we play. My eyes thank BioWare.

I find both of them very attractive! I'm kinda glad Dorian is gay because I would have a very hard time choosing between them in my first playthrough!

I gotta say, as a non-Cullen fan this reveal's certainly gotten me more interested in his character. He certainly seems to have gone through quite the evolution, and I like that they've given his face more character. Interesting character design has always been a big thing for me.

That's understandable, because you weren't ever really emotionally attached to him to begin with. For us, we're relieved that he still looks good in the new engine. But more than that, it's his blurb that was posted on the Dragon Age website. We see that he is growing as a person, as a leader, and he helped to restore order to Kirkwall. That's a big deal to us. You may not understand it, and that's okay.

I can understand that, I suppose. But I don't really know about "not waiting for other people to act," given that acting on his own hasn't exactly had the best results.

His looks is very appreciated (by most of the people I saw outside of the thread too), as well as his character info.
Don't know if you read it, but he has the templar symbol on his arms, and Gaider posted a tumblr of a can blurb about him, stating it is accurate.

Well...I must admit I got a little worried when I saw the pic with him holding up the sword....nothing wrong with it, it just didn't look like Cullen.

The way I read Solas's  Profile & Weeke's interview, I'm getting the distinct impression Solas will be Bi.

 

And because of that my gut is telling me...Cullen will be straight and likely restricted to Humans, Elves, & Dwarf female inquisitors.

 

I just actually asked my brother since he is a Cullen fan how he felt and he and his husband are just so excited for Dorian....they don't care anymore.   

 

So whatever it may be and as much as it sucks...we'll just have to deal with it I guess.

 

My brother and I both agree that Cullen looks fantastic.

Playing as a female inquisitor before my canon male inquisitor is getting more appealing by the minute

 

... but Dorian still wins. I wonder if there's an option to flirt with Cullen as a male anyway. I wouldn't mind being turned down by that hunk rawr

It's odd. I wouldn't have called myself emotionally invested in Cullen. But reading the blurb and seeing him, this is what I wanted from a DA LI that I haven't been getting.

You know, it's really kind of interesting looking at this thread, because there are so many people praising Cullen for his appearance, and it... means no more to me than static. I cannot see the sex appeal of men at all; it's like looking at a tree or a pillar. And I'm trying to sort of squint and see how the characteristics referred to might be appealing, but on an emotional level at least, so far it's nothing doing.

That's also kind of strange, I'm straight, but I can still appreciate male good looks on an aesthetic level.

I think he looks fantastic.  Definitely a fine aged spiiced rum (om nom).  I will let that man do bad things to me *cough cough*...

 

I liked the pictures (even the one with the lion helmet), although some of the pictures kinda had me tilting my head trying to figure out if it was lighting or him, but since he looks kind of like my hubby in the "mean" pictures I am totally fine with it lol.
