I'm surprise people rank Garrus so low, especially considering he's the most popular LI for female in ME2 and ME3, well, they don't have that much choice to begin with but still.

For me it's Vega's attitude. He reminds me of... A party boy... I don't know how else to describe him. Like he's too cool for school. I love Freddie Prinze, Jr. though. I'm hoping that Iron Bull will be one of my best friends in Inquisition, for at least a few of my Inquisitors.

 

Editing to add, if he really is a proper LI, I'll have him be with my Qunari Female Inquisitor. Because she needs someone who can actually hold up to her and not break!

It's funny because I never really thought Alistair was ridiculously hot or anything. For him, it's the personality. With Garrus, it's those... *clears throat* ...subharmonics. But Kaidan and Cullen are total packages!

I've read in another thread that Cullen is a Knight-Commander now. I didn't know that. Last time I checked he was still a Knight-Captain in DA 2. So, I'm wondering where and why and how he got promoted? Does anybody know?

Some would argue he became Knight-Commander the moment he told Meredith to step down. So at least for the duration of the final boss fight, he was acting Knight-Commander. Given the Web site description of him "rallying the templars" and restoring order, one might expect him to remain in that position. Of course I've practically written a dissertation on the various continuity problems with him being Knight-Commander... but it sounds like we'll find out the details soon enough.

I wonder if I'm the only one who has a very different list of favorite characters and favorite LIs. For example, Garrus' romance is about as good as it gets without going back to a mute protagonist, but my favorite ME character is Miranda. And well, the PC isn't me in any meaningful sense. Alistair's romance dialogue makes me giggle, but in the context of being the Warden, he usually ends up dead. I hope Cullen isn't so mismatched.

EDIT because I missed R2's post: Yes, the moment he took over from Meredith, he was in charge. Not sure though if that really promotes him in the rank of a Knight-Commander.

LOL yay i got one rogue like its well deserved missy   and yes I agree this pic of him makes him look more better i guess it has a lot to do with the lighting? And the angle perhaps? I must admit i didn't quite felt like he looked like Cullen on that one pic where he has his sword up he looked very different... but again im wiling to just  "blame" the lighting.

 

 

on other news if we are doing ME  Lists too i have only tryed 2 of them so far

Yup, same here. Mordin, Wrex, and Joker top my list of Mass Effect characters. In Dragon Age, well, still Anders and Zevran, plus Shale, Loghain, and Varric. I'm hopeful that Cullen will be one of the LI's who's also one of my favorite characters.
