I would just use Karma's Companions mod, and romance him that way. LOL

My Surana.  I was always a bit sad that playthrough, even though I had her eventually romance Zevran.  But the Broken Circle quest was really rough for her, and I felt bad that it ended so badly between them.  Although better than my canon, I suppose.  In my canon playthrough, Rion dies and that's far more tragic.

Another dev (or heck maybe it was even him?) has already confirmed that the romance word budget for advisors is the same as followers.

This actually makes sense, if you think about it, since he has posted in the past about how non-follower romances would be problematic. One way to make them less problematic is to beef them up, just like the follower romances.
