So I was having a hard time visualizing my Inquisitor. I'd originally planned on playing a human mage as my canon Quizzy... but it suddenly hit me today. BAM! She's not a human, she's Dalish! While I was at work, I was thinking about my Inquisitor and what kind person she'll be. As I was cleaning the stock room, the pieces just kind of fell into place. I'm more excited than ever for October. I just hope Cullen will love her as much as I do.

(Feanneth is a variant on the Tolkien name "Feanor")

 

Dalish mage and closet goofball. The dorkiest Dalish you'll ever meet. She's outgoing, but socially awkward. She's a tree-hugging earthmuffin with a heart of gold and a determination to do what's right no matter what.

Hey guys this is Cassie------Kirrahe's buddy and your Kirrahe news reporter for the time!
Aside from pictures was there any other Cullen news today? I'm putting together a dragon age info folder and a few other folders of things he likes so when he wakes up he has happy things to see! So many pictures of his daughters, partner and pets lol!

In Cullen news all I know of is five new pictures.
1.close up of Cullens face. 2.Lion Mask 3.him standing in doors with sword pointed down. 4. Angry face Cullen and 5.out doors Cullen raising a sword. So any other new pictures? Or important news on his character, other characters or DAI in general?

Also, Kirrahe is in pretty stable condition for the most part. Yesterday he had about 16 seizures and today he had 18. The doctors have a few different plans to proceed forward but yesterday we had a scare when they offered him hospice care. It turns out it was a fluke in the system (thankfully) but the doctors are still very concerned. The outpour of love and support he has gotten is amazing. So many flowers and cards and gifts and candy's from people who love and care about him! So keep sending him your mental well wishes, and I'll keep letting you know how our loving, adorable Salarian psychologist is doing!

Only other thing to perhaps add is that a new interview about Cullen came out today. Upshot is:

5. He is being written by Brianne Battye.

6. He is not a companion; he is an advisor to the Inquisition and will lead the Inquisition's military forces on your behalf. (source) [finally confirmed]
7. After the mage-templar conflict in Kirkwall, he helped rally the templars and restored order. Cassandra recruited him to the Inquisition because of his integrity and leadership there. (source)

8. He is no longer a member of the Templar Order, which he thinks has not lived up to its ideal. (source)

9. Players will get to know "the person behind the soldier" and learn about why he became a templar and other personal aspects of his character. (source)

So...OT

Spent half the day in the hospital...one of my twin girls passed out and cut open her chin. She needed stitches and we still don't know why she passed out. All kinds of tests were done and everything came back fine...

ugh...my blood pressure can't handle this crud. And in five days im having another kid....sigh

Well, I think one of the developers already confirmed that you can loose all of your companions (and advisors ??) except one. That's why I also think that Cullen might leave if you loose his respect. I just wonder how much it would take 'til that happens. After all, he has seen it all: demons, mages gone wild, templars gone mad and a lot of people who were fighting each other. My guess is that he won't be easily discouraged. I wonder what his reaction will be in the "save the village or save the scarhold" scenario (assumed that he has already joined the inquisition by then).

I think advisors won't leave no matter what. And the one companion who stays loyal no matter what you do is Cassandra. Because these people formed the Inquisition, and they did it, because they have this big goal of saving the world, stopping the chaos, etc. Other companions seem to have their own agendas, but the core of the Inquisition seems to be above pursuing their goals at the cost of the world's safety. Besides, the Inquisition will probably just fall apart without them.

Well, he still wears the insignia. I can't imagine him just being like, "I have nothing else to wear."

I don't think he left. The Inquisition is just more important right now to him, but he probably still thinks of himself as a templar. BB says he is still processing what happened, and he probably haven't thought yet about what his life will be after the Inquisition. Will he go back to being a templar? Will it even be possible after what he saw, after he experienced that level of authority, after he interacted with all these different people, heard what they have to say? After he saw that Circles don't work? I imagine Cullen may be a bit lost, but what he knows for sure is who he is, and who he was, and that is a templar. He may cling to that for a comforting sense of stability, and draw confidence from his past. And that's why he still wears templar gauntlets, although he's technically not a part of the order at the moment.

I dunno why, but I really love that helmet for some reason. I wonder if he has some tie to Orlais or maybe it has some significance within the Order or his family? *Gasp* What if Cullen was taken in by the Chantry when he was a child, like an Orlesian orphan and what not. My ronin idea is dead so unless the lion is the symbol of his branch I can't figure why he has a lion of all things.
