Hey guys this is Cassie------Kirrahe's buddy and your Kirrahe news reporter for the time!
Aside from pictures was there any other Cullen news today? I'm putting together a dragon age info folder and a few other folders of things he likes so when he wakes up he has happy things to see! So many pictures of his daughters, partner and pets lol!

In Cullen news all I know of is five new pictures.
1.close up of Cullens face. 2.Lion Mask 3.him standing in doors with sword pointed down. 4. Angry face Cullen and 5.out doors Cullen raising a sword. So any other new pictures? Or important news on his character, other characters or DAI in general?

Also, Kirrahe is in pretty stable condition for the most part. Yesterday he had about 16 seizures and today he had 18. The doctors have a few different plans to proceed forward but yesterday we had a scare when they offered him hospice care. It turns out it was a fluke in the system (thankfully) but the doctors are still very concerned. The outpour of love and support he has gotten is amazing. So many flowers and cards and gifts and candy's from people who love and care about him! So keep sending him your mental well wishes, and I'll keep letting you know how our loving, adorable Salarian psychologist is doing!

I really, really wish Kirrahe the best and pray he makes a full and speedy recovery. I wish he were here to join in on the new Cullen information with us, but trust he'll be back in full force before too long!

 

I've never interacted with him personally, but I've had the pleasure of reading many of his posts since I started lurking on this thread back in January. He is, without a doubt, one of the nicest people I have ever encountered on the internet. I've never seen him exchange a harsh word with anyone and every post he's made has been so bright and cheerful that it's brought a smile to my face!   I'm sending as much love as I can muster out to him, his family, and his friends.

 

Please, please, please get better soon Kirrahe! You are a true gem among men and "the very model of a scientist salarian." This forum is the lesser without your wonderful presence. No less than CULLEN   will be waiting for you when you get back!

 

And @VampOrchid I hope your daughter remains well and that you have the smoothest delivery possible!

I dunno why, but I really love that helmet for some reason. I wonder if he has some tie to Orlais or maybe it has some significance within the Order or his family? *Gasp* What if Cullen was taken in by the Chantry when he was a child, like an Orlesian orphan and what not. My ronin idea is dead so unless the lion is the symbol of his branch I can't figure why he has a lion of all things.

 

I love that helmet, too. At first I was amused, because I wasn't sure if it was there just to troll us a little bit (or because his face wasn't really up to be shown) but now I'm like, "No no no, it's symbolism." And everything is magical.

 

I'm thinking the lion is a symbol of the Inquisition's military force, because we were shown at PAX Prime (?) last year (??) that the Keep that was upgraded for military force had two giant stone lion statues at its entrance.

Now I'm imagining Cullen reading Hard in Hightown and getting grumpy over the procedural inaccuracies.

 

CULLEN: I've worked with guardsfolk, Varric. None of them were like this.

VARRIC: You didn't know that many guards, then.

CULLEN: [HUFFILY] Well, none of the effective and well-meaning guards were like this. This Ser Brennicovik would be run out of the barracks by the corrupt guards, or turned in by the straight ones!

It's an unofficial celebration this time around, because it's rather soon (comparatively) after we reached page 1000. So just post whatever you like when we get there. We'll reach page 3000 before DAI ships, so that's going to be our next big organized celebration. I should probably write a fic, though, in celebration of Cullen's official reveal. [TAPS CHIN] Not that I actually have a clue what to do. I'll think of something. ...I hope.

I want to echo these thoughts and send my own hopes for health and recovery. Sending any good vibes, prayers and well wishes as I can, hopefully they are enough. We need our favorite Salarian

Otherwise... I'm pleased. Nothing headcanon breaking for me. In fact, she describes in many of the same ways I would. I'm happy. Good. Yay.

 

Yeah, same. I'm sure there will be minor differences to how I've imagined him, but nothing that makes me feel like I didn't know the character before. Which, for me, is a good thing - I like consistency in characters. He sounds pretty much how I thought.

 

I also like that it sounds like there will be a few surprises.

 

It just makes me happy that Cullen still sounds like Cullen!

 

Yeah, yay for getting to romance an actual grown up. Forget grand gestures, I want someone dependable.

 

My Inquisitor would be 100% on board with this.

 

I wonder if that whole "honest direct approach" is a hint on how to interact with Cullen in general... Probably the same deal with the romance, poor guy is kinda oblivious, LOL!

 

That's good, that's my canon Inquisitor's style anyway. I think they'll work well together.

I'm also wondering if I can go a little off topic for a bit how Morrigan plays into the Inquisition? I mean she isn't an advisor and seems more involved with Celene than with the organization. Do you think we're gonna get a profile of her? I wonder how integral she will be to the plot.

The bolded. Noo, it's not weird. I'm feeling the same thing. Don't get me wrong, i'm loving everything i'm seeing about the companions. But the three advisors are topping that in interest a lot for me personally.

On Morrigan Is suspect we won't get much more infomation then we already have apart from maybe a writer interview. As to her role. I'm not sure. The only thing I think we can be sure of with Morrigan is that she will be working for Morrigans agenda before anyone elses. Whether that works out in our best interests however......

It seems, to me anyway, that the advisors may be our primary conduit for learning the story, how our efforts are affecting the land and our lifeline for how to steer the game in the directions we want - more so than the companions, it seems; so I'm very excited to interact with them. The companions will have importance too, I know; but I think they will still be limited to what the Inquisitor decides to do in most things (unless the decision is really contrary to their ideals, they'll assist the PC, no matter what). The advisors, while perhaps possibly less interactive and maybe stuck to the PC regardless - I just really don't know - will be instrumental in informing us how our choices are playing out and offering a solution if it's not to our liking. That's my understanding anyway. Basically, I think we'll experience more of the story through them but they won't be limited to just that. It makes them intriguing to me. I can swap out Varric for Sera or Solas for Vivienne, etc. and still achieve what I want but the advisors aren't hot-swappable. And I like that! =D
