Cullen's nose has changed alot from DA:O/DA2 to DA:I. It's become more bulbous-looking. I think I preferred it when it was more straight and sharp. It's a nit pick though.
It's an understandable nitpick though. I think the nose is an important part of making someone appear recognizably them. In DAO, it seemed more dynamic and a slightly hooked appearance, what with the bridge bowing outward a little and not in a straight line to the tip. But in DA2 it was straightened out and the tip was rounded just a little but still conformed to the straight bridge and didn't conflict with it at all. Now, the bridge is still straight and the side bone of it is still prominent but the tip seems longer, wider and more full... He has a nose that looks good from certain angles and terrible from others. I think I can get used to it, however.
I like his grittier look too. The thing that bothers me is his lower facial structure. His cheekbones are wider than his jaw and the jaw is more angled, giving him a rounder face. I rather preferred the square look he had. It was uniquely him. The rounder look and change in hair kind of conspire to make him resemble Alistair - to me anyway. For all that Al grew to hurt my nerves, I did still like him for a time. I'm not crazy about having an Al lookalike. And Cullen looks more like Al to me now. He's not a carbon copy, thankfully but I still feel a bit perturbed that the devs - knowingly or not - made a pseudo Al of Cullen. I know he'll behave differently than Al (at least I hope so) and that will go a long way toward separating them in my mind.
