I kinda hoped it was Calian who was infertile, tbh. That dirty dog.
You would think there would be waaaay more 'little Calians' running around if it weren't him. (As in, I agree with you).

Well from what I remember he wasn't exactly faithful to Anora (so unless he was being careful) and there don't seem to be any little bundles of accidental Therin joy toddling around Thedas. So he could well have been him.

For sure! I didn't like him right off the bat, lol. We definitely got the good brother for ourselves!
I...I do believe you've outdone yourself this time.

Actually wouldn't that neatly solve the Alistair infertility thing too. If Cailan had an heir to inherit after Alistair - of course this would also mean that Alistair isn't the KIng but meh you know.......politics.

Oh gosh he wasn't? That went right over my head! When/how does the warden find that out?
He was also gonna leave Anora to marry Empress Celene in a political move, which was another reason why Loghain screwed him over.
If you talk to Anora in Denerim, she'll tell you that Cailan always had other women but that he was discrete and she loved him. It humanized her a bit to my mind.

We had a fun little crackpot theory that Cullen's last name was Therin. (ABSOLUTE CRACK THOUGH NOT FOR SRS.) Ah, drama.

I suspected that it was Cailan who wasn't able to have kids and Anora got unfairly blamed for it.
That being said, I hope we don't have any further complications in Ferelden politics and the Theirin bloodline, like whether Maric's illegitimate son is more rightful a ruler than Maric's legitimate son's possible illegitimate heirs...
Cause if they pull that, screw it, I'm pulling this bus over, changing my answer and putting Anora or the Human Noble on the throne.
My warden better be poppin' out a King Alistair baby every 9 months!

He was a little smarmy, eh? Definately got the good brother... ![]()

I don't think it was a done deal, I think the implication was that he was considering the idea. Of course considering the idea would probably be damning enough in Loghain's eyes seeing that Anora was his daughter and he had very set views on Orlais.

That crackpot theory hurt my head.

I kept Alistair as a Warden, I'd prefer him not to have to take over the throne... and from what I've heard from TME, I definitely won't be helping Celene out.

LIKE!

I liked Gaspard way more than I expected. I mean he's a total btard but kind of I don't know....attractive.......
Anora is wasting away in the dungeons in my canon playthroughs, and my Warden won't be having any babies.
They'll just have to settle the succession to the throne by another civil war once the queen and king (or king and his blood mage lover) go on their callings.
Hmmm, I wonder what a human-qunari halfbreed would look like. Taller-than-average-human grey-skinned person, perhaps with horns....
What? Oh, just day-dreaming what Ashtal's little Cullets would look like.

I don't particularly trust Orlesian nobles in general and Celene seems the most conniving of them all.
Hopefully my copy of TME is on it's way, so can find out by this weekend.

AH MEN!

Lol, it's a case of picking the lesser of two evils. I've not read the book yet so I can't pass too much judgement, but I've had some say that Gaspard is the better of the two, and others say that Celene is.

Bwahaha! Cullets. Jeeze. I can't stand it! ![]()

Haven't read the book yet,but I doubt my inquisitor will want to get involved in their intrigues...But I suppose choosing a side and ending the civil war must be part of the storyline,so I guess it won't be optional, unfortunately.
