My preference goes to the man behind the soldier.
It can be his hobbies but also his friendships (would be an excuse for me to draw him with Blackwall again...)
Mine, too. I'm thinking this should certainly at least be one of them.
My guess with the whole "angst" thing might be between a romance with a mage? Since we don't know for sure if his "fully recovered" from his past experiences .. even if sht got to hell in DA2 with the templars....
Maybe, but then the people who play as non-mage protagonists would miss out on it. I don't think too much stock will be played into a MagexCullen relationship... I mean, I dare say it'll come up in conversation, maybe mention a couple of hesitations or "lol, how ironic" comments but beyond that I don't think it would be like a huge plot point within the romance arc.
Based on DG's comment on Cullen having "angst" in his future and Mary Kirby's long post about how a romance story has to have drama to be an actual story... I think he'll inevitably have to have some drama/baggage/angst associated with his romance arc for anyone who romances him. Could this mean mage only? Prob not; I reckon it'll be something about his past/character that everyone experiences.
That's what I thought, that Cullen was possibly the person who pointed her towards Varric in the first place.
Although that wouldn't explain Cassandra's assumptions about Hawke's role in the incident.Unless Cullen didn't get the opportunity to explain the whole situation, for one reason or the other.
yeah, only quoting the one post of several... but I think indeed, there are still to many questionmarks about why Cass knew so little if Cullen was already a part of their merry band before interrogating Varric. If not, I sure hope they explain that part.
