My thoughts exactly. Cullen is a good person, but he's known for making bad decisions and also being a bit wishy-washy in terms of those decisions. He kinda has to be pushed to make that "last straw" decision (a.k.a. ... "The Last Straw" LOL).
My biggest concern is that DAI won't even address this
It is rather similar to Act3, isn't it? I got the impression from the interview and DG's comment on that fan blurb that Cullen is really retrospective about his decisions, so I'm hoping that's addressed in the evolution of his character.
But I do hope the erm, questionmarks are addressed, like Cassandra's cluelessness, like the 15 Knight-Commanders.

I second 'The Way of Kings' - it's very good read and the sequel 'Words of Radiance' came out earlier this year. I haven't read it yet but I'm going to as soon as I clean up enough things to remove the guilt that accompanies recreation.
