Cullen seems like a chill dude this time. But if I really have to pick a side in Mage v Templar I'm kinda leaning on choosing the mages. Hope he's not going to get too angry at me for doing that.

It really depends on my character since to me it's just a narrative... but in DA2 I never could pick the pro-templar ending, since it was just too hard to create a Hawke who was all, Sure, I'll murder an entire Gallows full of innocent people. Just point me in the right direction ![]()

I think it'd depend on actual circumstances of the situation. Like if you have read Asunder

LadyxInsanity: "Have a feeling that this week is going to be jammed with #DragonAge news. Scribbles, Raptr, Destructoid...I'm all a-quiver :3"
I didn't know about the destructoid thing.
A Q&A livestream with Laidlaw, I think.Me either... what's Raptr??
By the way, is it today?
On the topic of Cullen-Asunder, I'm not sure he left Kirkwall and reached the White Spire. While there isn't anything against the possibility of him leaving Kirkwall to reach the meeting, I don't personally think he'd have stated silent. We don't even know if he was officially appointed as KC. The templars in Kirkwall were few, and I think Kirkwall was left to itself.
We don't know if there are other KC other then those that are stationed in the Circles after all.

Ohh okay. So I guess an interview or something? I wish I had the time to watch podcasts and YT videos as much as I'd like. If it's anything interesting, post it here, yeah?

How the situation in the Last Straw was developed is the only reason why I managed to finish the game with my canon. Other then me being neutral, the two sides were horribly portrayed. But the Circle was innocent in regards of Anders' actions.

The hard part would be deciding who the two straight guys are... would have to be the two I like least
Let's see, Vivienne and... Varric. Okay I don't dislike Vivienne at all but that would seriously be like romancing myself.

I headcanoned is as: Lets protect the city, mages are done anyways and I have to protect most people I can. Utilitarism FTW ^^; But yep it's definitely harder to pick templar side, I naturally lean more to mages side in the argument. It's much easier to protect than attack when you want to be good guy.

My canon Hawke's were neutral, too. They weren't massive mage supporters or anything. But man does the game force you to choose, and that ending, wow! I'd have to go seriously OOC to choose pro-templar. Shame cause that's the best Cullen scene!

I wishes they shown him in similar scenes as in the templars playthrough, in the mage one, like the scenes with Loghain and Howe in DAO. It'd have helped in showing everyone his character development from the start of the game.

So I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere in this thread, but I'm lazy.
What are people's plans for their first Inquisitor? I mean as far as the world state they will be importing.
I'm thinking I'm going to actually play pro-templar first...which is highly unusual for me. I just think it would be better to get a handle on Cullen's romance before I attempt mage!quisitor. So she's going to be a human rogue, and I'm thinking I'll import Queen Cousland - pro templar Hawke. Then I will play an elf mage, and import F!Amell - pro mage Hawke. Thoughts?
I am being a chicken because my first DAO run I got dumped (As a Cousland, don't laugh). I cried like a baby then restarted, became queen, then told Morrigan to f off on the ritual. I was like "PFFFT we'll figure it out". ;_; I needed therapy afterwards
. I almost actually gave up on the game lol. I don't wanna do something like that again.

I have 3 very plan-out Inquisitors so far. It'd be very long post if I pointed out here everything about them but there is my character collection if someone wants to read (they are in Dragon Age Inquisition part): https://charahub.com/user/Panda123
I will romance Cullen with my fem qunari mage Skye. She's very pro-mage.. I imagine it'll be hard to romance Cullen with her but if he's not race-gated I'll do it somehow ^^
I think I will import my canon playthrougs for Skye, my Cousland and my Hawke who sided with templars. I have also Hawke who sided with mages for other characters and another Cousland and Tabris. My DAO playthrougs are rather similar though if I remember right so not much change comes from them.

I think my first import will be Queen Cousland and pro-mage Hawke and I'll play as a pro-mage female human mage. Chose Harrowmont, saved Redcliffe, Zathrian sacrificed himself, ashes saved, anvil destroyed and all that.
