LOL I think probably by the Grand Cleric. Ahem.Is the KC appointed by the Divine? Because that would explain a way for Cullen to remain only acting KC of Kirkwall.
I mean, maybe Kirkwall was left to its on devices for a while.
How about you Lola, any companion reveals/LI reveals that your particularly fond of that you didn't expect? Same question to everyone of course.
I was over the moon about Cullen, of course, but I think they released the info about set sexualities that exact same day, so my joy was short-lived. That was soul-crushing.
I was excited that Sera was revealed as f/f ![]()
I didn't expect to fall so in love with Blackwall. I guess I've been waiting for the games to give us a companion like him. Of course he'll not be a LI just to spite me lol
I expected to like the Iron Bull more than I do. His looks didn't turn out so great, and his personality reminds me of Oghren, the one character I hate. But he may be my only desirable LI option, and I definitely don't hate him. Just wish I liked him more. Plus, always wanted to climb a qunari ![]()
I think my biggest disappointment has been the loss of Solas' hair. I'd been intrigued with him since the War Room concept art, and to see him go bald was just such a massive disappointment. I never had any intentions of romancing him; just thought he looked cool lol!
A kindred spirit
. I originally studied media and art history. Afterwards I worked in all sorts of areas. Finally, I decided that I wanted to do something more game-related. That's why I started a postgraduate course in game development. I finished in February and I am desperately looking for a job now. But unlike you I never learned programming. I was always interested in storytelling and took several seminars on the topic. Unfortunately, I could hardly ever use my knowledge during the course of the study. As a matter of fact, I thought programming would have been really helpful. I built all my prototypes in GameMaker. LOL. Anyway, we were a tiny course because the institute was newly founded and not well known when I started. We were 9 students, six of them were male, three female, but one of the female students droped out after the first semester. While all of my professors were very supporting, some of the male students did not respect the female students as much as their male peers. I think that you have to work harder as a female student to gain their respect. And when I really had a problem with someone, I took him aside after the course and adressed the issue. So far, an open and honest conversation has always worked best for me. Sorry, I got a carried away here. Actually, I only wanted to say that I know how you feel and hang in there!
I also prefer to play female characters. I think it's naturual that you always identify yourself with your own gender the most. But I don't have a propblem with playing male characters. Otherwise, it would rule out so many games. But I strongly beleive that there should be more strong female characters in video games, Lara Croft aside.
I guess I'm just used to ignoring it. It generally doesn't bother me anymore, but winter term this year on the first day of class, another young male student made a comment about women ruining games, making them all like facebook. The professor laughed and even agreed, and that immediately made me feel unwelcome. The worst part is we had to create our own game, and had to present it to the class. It made me so nervous. Luckily all are not like that, but it always makes me laugh when they are shocked that I'm a gamer and in the game dev program. She has boobs? HOW SHE PLAY GAME WITH BOOBS? xD
Anyway, I have a general idea on DG's newest book, but haven't read it. Do you guys think I should?
Good morning!
It took me a while to it to finally sink in regarding which of your siblings makes it through the prologue -- and why. DA2's writers wanted to make sure your Hawke has a vested interest in the Mage/Templar war.If your Hawke is a mage, there would be no counterbalance to the conflict if Bethany survives.
It's overkill though. Either you're a mage or your adorable sister is a mage. There's no reason NOT to support the mages. That was a huge error on their part.
LOL I think probably by the Grand Cleric. Ahem.
Huh.
In that case, that makes a pretty clear case for him only ever being "acting" KC.
Therefore making "Former Knight-Captain" technically correct. *grin*

But while Orsino and Alain were nice on the surface, Orsino still covered up Quentin's twisted experiments and Alain (however reluctantly) joined a group of extremist mages (twice), so neither of them are exactly "decent" per se, unlike Bethany.
Don't you talk bad about my bb!!! ![]()
THIS IS THE CULLEN THREAD!!!!

Unless Bethany dies in the Deep Roads. In my both playthroughs Bethany and Carver died there.. I didn't know there was option to not get them killed XD
2099 pages.
I missed the 2000 page anniversary.
Not exactly. He wanted to protect Bethany, but My Hawke was still neutral.
I should've restated that. There's no reason to be pro-templar, unless you hate your sister. And you have to headcanon that because there's no in-game reason to hate Bethany.

I purposefully took them into the Deep Roads to die, so that in Act 3, I could rescue my LI and it would be all romantic ![]()

Huh. I wondered who they kidnapped if your sibling was dead. (I have never not taken Anders to the Deep Roads. Never.

Your love interest. Dunno who they take if you don't romance anyone either, though.

Not necessarily. You don't have to hate Bethany to be pro-templar.
