has anything been posted in regards to the keep, i have tried to find any answers on it but can't find anything as to when it will be open for all, i'm excited for the 8 romances thing and cant wait to see how some of those play out, i lurk in here all the time, but rarely post, i'm always trying to find out the latest da3 stuff in here

The keep beta will be open for everyone August/ September and they are still seeing about working the saves from previous consoles. Anyone else got anything?

thank you very much pastelopal for answering that for me, much appreciated, and thank you for all the updated info in here that keeps me lurking in the shadows, i loved cullen in dao and da2 and i very much believe i'll love him in da3, though i may try some other romances eventually too, once i have explored every corner of thedas that is available

Given today's events I think it's time for me head off and go to the Dorian thread where I belong. Thank you all for the laughs and wonderful conversations as we attempted to comprehend our favorite Knight-Captain. I won't lie - I was disappointed that it ended the way it did. But as I said earlier, other than wishful thinking I really didn't have a strong argument for Cullen as a romance option for both male and female Inquisitors. 

 

Again, congratulations for your patience and perseverance in finally getting the chance to win Cullen's heart -- you absolutely deserve it.

Everyone is leaving. There are other things to discuss about Cullen, not just the romance stuff. I admid that it's a bit difficult without the game but we could get creative. 

 

Umm so they confirmed that Alistair was a half elf?

They said that there aren't any half-elfs in the Dragon Age universe because the human half will always be the dominating one. Hence Alistair. Can't find the correct text right now but I think that was it.

I still have 16 pages to catch up on (this is why I should never sleep, eat, or be away from this forum), but I had to comment. I know we have some sad pandas in the fandom so...

 

 

Please don't leave! I know it hurts right now and I get it, but you can still appreciate Cullen and admire him. There will be beautiful art, amazing fics (that I hope some of you write), great friends ready to give hugs whenever you need them, and of course cookies. Please don't be sad. We all love you and need you here.

If there's 8 romances, 5 are confirmed, and 1 is an outside romance, that leaves 2 more from the companions that are left. So:
Females - Vivienne
Males - Cole, Blackwall, Solas, Varric, Iron Bull

Seems less likely that Varric's a romance at this point (drat ). I'm not betting on Cole being one at all. Seems Iron Bull will bed anything that moves so he's likely 1 of the 2 remaining. That leaves either Blackwall or Solas. If Blackwall is dedicated to the Grey Wardens, he might not have time for the Inquisitor's affections. If Solas is dedicated to his cause, the same can be said for him. Vivienne seems less and less likely but she's still a possibility.

So toss up for the remaining 2 seems to be Blackwall, Solas, and Iron Bull ... and maybe Vivienne.

Then again, the outside romance could just be a fling with a one time deal and doesn't interfere with the other romances with companions/advisers ... but not holding my breath. Iron Bull could also be potentially be a fling and not be a "full" romance (in that marriage and what not is not apart of it). Wishful thinking. Honestly, my bet's on Solas and Iron Bull being the other 2 companion romances, though.

Varric is stroking Biancas cocking ring or trigger, he actually said that in DA2, and thus is spoken for ..

Leaves Vivienne, Solas, IB and Blackwall.

Also Blackwall for me is the character that is most likely not romance able since he would not want to hurt his lover by just leaving for the calling. He does not look like the unfinished business type, thus I think it would be IB and Solas should the outsider be a female.

Using a 2 / 4 / 2 ratio ...

If the the outside LI ( not a companion or advisor ) is a female then I think Bioware would add 2 more bi males which would even out the ratio: straight / bi / gay

Cullen, Cass / Josephine, <female outsider>, Solas, IB / Dorian, Sera.

If the the outsider is male then the ratio would look like this:

Cullen, Cass / Josephine, Vivienne, ?= Solas or IB, <male outsider> / Dorian, Sera

Ok just came back from a crazy night where Germany won 7-1 to brazil  it was an woesem night

 

 

Now... once again back to the ppl leaving the thread because Cullen is straight once again YOU DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE THIS THREAD JUST BECAUSE HIS STRAIGHT !!!! I know for some of you , you were expecting him to be bi.

And to be really honest i kind of expected him as well cause sometimes i like to play as a male character and when i do I like to romance the ppl i like with different genders.

That said... again i am going to repeat my self over and over  I know how it feels and its def NOT COOL  but just because he is gender restricted doesn't stop the player to have his/her wish no matter what gender they play.... thats why its a ROLE PLAYING GAME you can be who ever you want to be.. even in other circumstances...  that you don't always get what you want you CAN still get the same content but as a different character . So please don't leave this thread because of this  "reveal"

It means nothing.   If you like a specific character  you stand by it regardless of his/hers gender preferences, and Hey I like Cass AND Dorian but you know what? I have to play a diff gender then I would like to romance them and im fine with that... and as I said before even tho it might not feel the same way I would still get that satisfaction cause of ROLE PLAYING
