They already stated the game would not be moddable?
I think if mods are available...they will be cosmetic because you need a toolkit and Dice has never released one for any of their games

Frostbite 3 has been infamous for being extremely hard to mod. But, we will find a way. We always find a way!

Yeah...granted my canon was always going to be a female human warrior, but I just feel Sooooooo horrible for our family members that have been hoping and praying to romance him with a male inquisitor... I hope they don't all leave. Imma miss them :,( /Sad Shadow is super sad/

We'll just have to do our best to keep making this the best thread on the BSN and hope that they can deal with the situation. I mean, I'm sure they know that they're welcome and wanted ... What was it? "Came for the Cullen, stayed for the company."
I'm sad that Cullen won't be available to both genders for LI. I myself was planning a Dalish male elf to romance him. 
Of course, I know this impacts me far less than those who could only romance him as a male. 
I'm sorry guys and gals. It sucks that some of you are leaving, though! *cries* Do not want! I hope you all find your way back here some day. You'll always be welcome.

They said the Infinity Engine (Baldur's Gate) was also not moddable (is that a word even?) and yet mods happened. Plus, it seems like they are looking into a way to release a toolkit. It won't happen right away I'm sure, but it's moved from impossible to improbable - at least in my book.
