Ah, man I just multiquoted so many people while I was catching up that it became a tad too much. Therefore the quick version now:
Yeah. And they said a tool kit would not be released. And considering how long it took for that ME3 mod to be made.
All we can do is hope for ta oolkit will be released.
From the Q & A:
"Q: Will there be a toolset for DAI released? It was sorely missed for DA 2! Also heard that Frostbite isn't moddable, can you confirm or deny?
A: There will not be a toolset at release. We will continue to explore options, but there are -significant- challenges. - Laidlaw"
Maybe not all hope is lost. I really try to learn more about modding at the moment but the DAO is a bit outdated. I would really love a new toolset. I hope they can make it work.
Here's some random Cullen stuff... Am I the only one who thought he looked like Spike from Buffy in 2? Also, I'm trying to think of who he reminds me of now. I know I have seen this face somewhere, other than my dreams, before. I just can't put my finger on it.
No, I can't see the resemblance with Spike. However, before Cullen was officially announced I thought he looked a bit like the guy who plays David on Once Upon A time., Josh Dallas.
Would have worked for a younger Cullen.
I went totally spoiler free in DAO, got dumped with a fem Cousland (yeah yeah I know I suck). I called my sister having an absolute cow and she told me I could be queen with a Cousland. So I restarted, made her queen, then told Morrigan to jump off a cliff with the DR.
Then he died. After that one I almost quit playing, luckily my sister was there to encourage me to try again (and do the DR).
I'm so silly now like I spoil the crap out of myself with every game ever since. I will be behind most with DAI since I'll be in week 3 of fall term, and I'm taking 16 credits so not much time for gaming. I will be spoiling myself on Cullens romance.
LOL. My experience was a bit different but at the same time also somehow similar. I went in spoiler free and romanced Alistair. I turnd Morrigan's offer of the Dark Ritual down because my warden didn't entirely trust her (and neither did I). When it came to the final battle against the archdemon, it was just my warden and Alistair, of course, fighting shoulder to shoulder. AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? Right! I totally cheated, loaded a much older save game and decided to go through with the DR.
Eric is teasing about his spectacular return tomorrow:

You all are invited!
YEAH! Party is just what this thread needs. And I love shortbread.
It seems that yesterday all hell went lose and the dams collapsed, flooding us with news. And here I was, thinking that I could skip the event, since I assumed they would mostly keep to standard answers, we all know by know. Boy, was I wrong? Still recuperating, especially that I spent last few hours trying to catch up.
Anyway, still gutted about Cullen being straight. One of the reasons why I love this thread is that it's always buzzing with variety of fans, bringing different perspectives, creativity and fun. I can understand reasons behind withdrawing from the thread when being massively disappointed, still I will miss those guys and I hope they will pop in every now and again.
Bitter-sweet feeling at this moment, with the excitement of finally finding out about Scribbles Josephine. She's absolutely gorgeous and we finally know her name. And we have 8 LIs. And we know the voice actors for our Inquisitors. I must admit I am very curious about Jon Curry and whether I will hear a bit of Zev in his voice.
Oh, and Vamp having a little sprogglet! All the feels.
I feel exactly the same. It's so sad that people are leaving because of this reveal. I can understand it though. But I cross my fingers that some of them will return because I just love this thread so much with everyone in it. People here are nice, polite and so creative and I don't want to lose folks. At the same time I'm excited about some of the stuff that the developers talked about during the Q & A.
Ooo are you a Josephine fan too? She is absolutely gorgeous! And I loved the Q&A for her. I didn't think she would be my cup of tea but I have been thoroughly swayed
Count me in as well. I think my Inquisitor will probably be listening more to her than to Cullen. I always prefere the diplomatic approach. And the interview was great.
