I don't think 'pissed' is the right word. 

 

Some people were very disappointed and heartbroken, and most of the rest felt bad for them. Very few people were actually angry, though.

That is the best news I've heard in weeks. How can people be so shocked and upset and leaving the thread.(which is rather childish)

Given his background of course he's straight. Not everyone will be gay or bi .

Pissed? Naw. It's a shame that some of the fans can't romance him in the way that they had hoped, but there was always the strong possibility that he'd be a female only romance option.

Well, I'm glad you're pleased. However, regardless of whether or not it makes sense for him to be straight, there are many others who aren't so happy about the news. Please try to show a little more decorum surrounding the subject, I'm sure it isn't your intention but your current approach will make others feel like it's being in rubbed in their faces.

And count me among those who are disappointed that Cullen is straight. It isn't going to be a deal-breaker for me. I will play as a female eventually, but I kinda prefer to play as males.

 

On the plus side, if that 8 figure is correct (and I don't doubt that it is! ), Cullen being confirmed as straight increases the chances that Blackwall is a bi LI. I'd like that.

I hear you .But not to long a ago when both Sera and Dorian were announced to be fully gay LIs was rubbed in our faces. And then shoved drown our throats with that IGN video about  Dorian .Now I was upset but I took to twitter with my feelings.I was basically told you shut up and wait. And now we have two fully gay and two fully straight LIs . And in time a few Bis in between or not . I now see what BioWare is doing . I'm happy with this.

I'm disappointed on the behalf of everyone who wanted to romance him as a man. I wanted everyone to get their chosen option and I think it's really sad that isn't the case.

That being said, 8 LIs have been confirmed by Cameron Lee yesterday (yay!) and apparently there will be at least on NPC romance too (most are voting Dagna)

In regards to the bisexual romances, so far Josephine (Scribbles) has been announced as bisexual, she's also not race-gated.

It sucks that you and others had that happen. However, we should remember how it felt and hopefully not allow others to feel that way.

I think you and I are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I don't think any of the s/s characters have been shoved down our throats and I think that the LGBTQ fans finally having their own exclusive LI's is something to be celebrated since historically they have been shortchanged.

At the moment Josephine has been confirmed as Bi and IB is suspected to be. I'm very interested to see who our final options are. I've already made up my mind to try all the options available for F!Quisitor, and it may be that Dorian and Cass finally convince me to play as a male.
