Did they? I missed that.
They just said "Soon..." which can mean anything.

A lot of people would have been only too happy to hook up with Duncan. Just sayin'...
I would have romanced the beard off of Duncan.
I'm quite different then. I like to stick with one LI to one PC and only replay romance arch if I replay the character. It is definitely true with the pairings I become attached to the most.
I try to do that, but I start another character with the intent on romancing someone different but I cant do it, especially if I really enjoyed the romance arc and the character. It literally took nearly 2 years of playing many runs of origins to try a Zevran romance because Alistair was too cute.
Haha I always do that to! My first play through kinda becomes my personal head cannon and I feel bad when I romance other characters.
I am genuinely sad for the guys who wanted to romance Cullen and I can totally understand leaving a thread. They had hopes and those were dashed, now they just need some breathing room to get over it. Like in a break up, you need some space to forget. It just means we are all passionate about the awesome characters Bioware makes.
Whoa, I type slow. This comment was meant for the one much higher up.

For me it's worst with Fenris and Garrus. I hate it that they have interests outside the PC when you dont romance them
I admit, I have wanted to slap Tali a few times on my Kaidan runs. How can I be replaced so easily?!
lol
Cullen is Alistair all over again for me. I do hope with similar with Alistair, there is a mod that allow you to romance him as a male inquisitor.I try to do that, but I start another character with the intent on romancing someone different but I cant do it, especially if I really enjoyed the romance arc and the character. Supposedly, Leliana makes noises about romancing Alistair if you don't romance him.

Oh yeah I hated that Garrus and Tali had the hook up if you don't pick one of them. Made me feel like they were cheating on me even though I was with someone else. heh
I *cough* may have literally split a save and took ten minutes trying out Zev and Leli to try them out before returning to Alistair without even saving
I'm terrible like that
It isn't even that I disliked the arcs, I just don't like seeing him lonely :S
Oh my first Zevran, I made a save just so I could dump him and pick Alistair...and for the rest of the game would often replay that save just so I didn't feel so bad ![]()

This might be the reason I never liked Tali ![]()

The only thing I said was that Blackwall gives "me" the mentor vibe and so far the mentors have been out of reach for romance (Duncan, Anderson) I don't think I typed anything to say that there no people that want to romance Duncan or Blackwall ( I actually said I would want to have BW as a LI)

When? The only time I heard her bring him up is if you are romancing him.
Solas is Welsh, I repeat, Solas is WELSH!
Well now I NEED him to be romanceable.
I was already looking forward to listening to him talk about his opinions, but now I'm even more excited!
Your welcome. =3
No regrets.
Oh my goodness! That's why I connected your name with mods! I loved that Cullen mod so much! Thank you for that. It's officially part of my headcanon for my Amell.
It was so well done. I still need to try the others, I think.
So how pissed is everyone that Cullen is confirmed straight romance?
Are you here to offer hugs, ice cream, and delicious baked goods? That is so sweet of you! ♥ A lot of us are quite disappointed. Cullen has a vast and varied fan base, and it would have been nice if everyone could experience his character in full (which in the past generally only happened with a romance). I think a lot of us thought he'd be a good choice for a bi character who went against stereotype, while also pleasing the fans who've been invested in the character for years, who have known and loved the him since DAO or DA2. So yes, we're disappointed whether it's for ourselves or our friends.
Cullenites are some of the most lovely, thoughtful, open-hearted people I've "met," and I personally am hurting for those who have been disappointed by this.
And I'm still hoping it was a mistake. ![]()

I hope Cullen has the same effect on me as Alistair did. I'll be annoyed at myself if I end up all googly eyed at someone else after the amount of time I've spent going on about him!

I actually like when companions go after others if not romanced by my pc. :/ Makes it different.
Of course I tend to always romance the same characters over and over so they don't get much of a chance, but still.

He really is ins't he? I know frostbite is supposed to horrible for modding but I am sure some clever person will find a way, there are some brilliant modders around ![]()
It may now become apparent that I have -never- managed a playthrough where my PC didn't romance Alistair
and good thing too! Bad Leli! Back to the Chantry with you!
I had to roll a dude to romance the others, whenever I tried to romance them with a female I was all over Alistair the second we got out of Flemeth's hut!

If I didn't write out my playthroughs before hand, I would never romance differents people. Ever. All my playthroughs would end up the exact same ![]()

Oh I love when they do this! If I get annoyed by it it just means they are doing things right.
If I get around to my planned second playthrough as a militantly mage-freedom f!Qunari warrior, she won't romance Cullen. (It would feel like making him cheat on my first planned Inquisitor or something!) I'll base my interactions with him on seeing the maximum amount of content I didn't see on my first playthrough, so they probably won't get along very well at all! No idea yet who she will go for, though.
What about girls who want to romance him as a guy? Y u no feel sad for them.I am genuinely sad for the guys who wanted to romance Cullen and I can totally understand leaving a thread.
