I asked around before I even tweeted my question, (which I didn't ask to DG that was someone else) and now I look like the dumbest person on Earth. And I guess I am for believing it could be possible. I wasn't on the thread for very long yesterday to see this discussed in detail, and then it was brought up again on Twitter today, so yeah I guess I'm the idiot. Sorry. Please don't feel dumb. Do you realize the depth of the rumor mill here sometimes?  And you didn't ask anyone, you just tweeted a statement. Whoever took that and actually tweeted it to the devs should have probably ...um.. stopped for a minute (or ten) before doing so.

No way you're dumb.  I always let my worries about stuff like this get to me, too.  It gnaws like a rat until you feel like if it doesn't get cleared up, you're going to scream or something.  Everybody does it.  And this won't be the last time we obsess about story line.  We've been conditioned to believe sh*t like that is possible!

So I'm in DA2 and kind of shocked at how much I *don't* like Cullen. Hold the tomatoes. I have a point. He seems unduly harsh, too eager to go for the brutal approach. I'm not there yet, but I seem to remember him brushing off Alrik's actions. I believe in the Circle system but I also believe what Cullen says about templars having a duty to protect mages and ordinary people. So I'd like to see an acknowledgement from him that he was blind to his duty for a time and a firm resolve to live it out now.
