Oh, likes! They gave me like 4 likes since I ran out. All these Gifs deserve some LIKES!
I'm out of likes too! SO FAST!
*snip this awesomeness*
Don't know if you all saw this!
Josephine is Antivan. Dorian is Tevinter (from eastern Tevinter, actually).
Vivienne is of Rivaini heritage.
As for seeing a greater diversity in the NPC's you see around the game, I agree. And you will indeed see that in DAI. I'll point out, however, that we do not have every ethnic group in the real world represented in Thedas (as pointed out, Thedas is simply one continent), but we're endeavoring to make more visible the ones we do have.
So, His name is not Cullen Cullen. Or just Cullen. I was hoping that Cullen was the "Cher" of Thedas, lol! *prays to the Maker that his name is not Cullen Edwards*

*FLAILS* OH MY GAWD
Damn, bang goes my gutter rat theory! Maybe they died when he was a baby?So if he has a last name, then there is a chance he comes from a noble family hmmmmmmm

Interesting.
Revaini culture values jewelry to signify wealth and status if I remember correctly. THIS explains Vivienne lol.
Well that's a theory, he could still have the orphan background and raised in the chantry if they did. I liked the farm boy one myselfDamn, bang goes my gutter rat theory! Maybe they died when he was a baby?
... Why do I enjoy torturing that poor man so much, LOL!
Oh! He does have last name! Crazy sh1t!
Is this not something that you know?!
(Am I even allowed to ask you if you know something?!)

Edit: and I think we all enjoy torturing our boy just a little bit lol
It might also be that he's a younger son with nothing to really inherit so he was given to the chantry to make a living for himself without "burdening" the family with no land/titles for him

Why not all of them?
Seriously though, if he's from a noble background, it could be that his family (damn, there's one word to describe all of this but I can't remember it!
) lost all their land, money and titles so they're just noble in name only. So he could really just be a farm boy or a Chantry boy with a fancy last name
Or a younger son with nothing to inherit, so he was signed up/was sent to the Chantry. Kinda like how in real life, way back in the day, the younger sons would join the clergy.
o.O I dunno what happened to the quotes there.

Attainder... attainting... like Game of Thrones? I always imagined if Cullen was of noble birth he was either orphaned as a baby or suffered a fate similar to the Noble Origin story ![]()
That is such shite. It might also be that he's a younger son with nothing to really inherit so he was given to the chantry to make a living for himself without "burdening" the family with no land/titles for him
Regarding Cullen’s sexual life, I always thought that even if he never got to touch a real woman, desire demons showed him enough p0rn to become an expert

I heard a rumor somewhere that they really did make it that as a joke but I'm hoping they were just trolling me.
Oh my god your putting thoughts in my head that shouldn't be there! I want to write that but I don't know how I would feel about bit afterwards lol
"...oh! Cullen! Where did---how d---" o.O "Where did you learn to do that?"
"Oh Maker, I'm sorry! Was that wrong? I didn't hurt you, did I?"
"What? No! Nonono. It's just... well. I thought-- well, you were..."
"...yes?"
"I... uh. Well, you were raised by the Chantry, right? So I thought that you hadn't ever..."
"Ever...? Ever what? ...oh. Oh. Oh. Well. No. Not... exactly." >.>

Well, the lion thing makes me wonder if there is some kind of sad story about a Fereldan woman who fell in love with a chevalier, and had to give their baby to the Chantry to avoid being executed for collaborationism with the enemy.
You have no idea what you have done. I am now reading about Richard the Lionheart
I don't know how the writers get their inspiration, but I know I get mine from all over from music to history. ![]()
