"...yes?"
"I... uh. Well, you were raised by the Chantry, right? So I thought that you hadn't ever..."

Everrrrr ate jellied ham?
I was very tempted to go there. ![]()
That would be the most awkwardest conversation to have after bumping uglies with someone lol
Imagine having to explain that. Poor Cullen.
Tehehe this is what I mean, we all like to torture him just a tiny bitI was very tempted to go there.

LOL I couldn't help myself!
Good! No restraint! I like it ![]()
Lol, everything you will ever write about had probably been done by somebody alreadyYou have no idea what you have done. I am now reading about Richard the Lionheart
I don't know how the writers get their inspiration, but I know I get mine from all over from music to history.
If I were him, I'd rather lie that I had a harem in Kirkwall

History is the best source of inspiration

O.O Now imagine THAT conversation ![]()
Edit:
"I. Well. After what happened with Meredith in Kirkwall, I became acting Knight-Commander. I got very... busy."
*The Inquisitor raises an eyebrow* "Busy?"
"Yes. ...busy."

Ain't that the truth. I think I have been looking at Cullen too long, if that is possible, because I am starting to imagine him as this 4th noble son bit like Richard The LionHeart. He was also considered very handsome, tall, with red blonde hair :X INCEPTION ![]()
Hey all, just popping in to say hello, hope everyone is fine.
I asked Brianne if Cullen is still devout in DA:I and she gave me the "you'll see" ![]()
Maybe that's a hint in itself? *tries not to overanalyze* *fails miserably*

Are you reading a bio of Richard? because other than handsome etc I don't think their personalities would match (I hope not lol)

Perhaps his lion helmet has something to do with his Surname after all then? What was the Surname of the family/person that wore the lion armour in Orlais? Maybe he's a descendant of that family and he became a Templar because in his youth he naively wanted to be a knight like the romantic tales people told of his relative.
I can imagine him joining for that reason. You can see him being like that in DAO.... naive and a romantic at heart... awww

I was just reading the Wiki entry. I don't see much similarities other than the look and the speculation of him not being a first born noble son. It got my wicked little brain thinking all sorts of things about Cullen's family and why he went to the Chantry. Things like he was the youngest so he needed a trade, or that his brother was jealous of how much their mother loved him so when their parents died he was carted off. You know the usual, torturing the poor boy with tragic events thing ![]()

I could only find the Lion's Claw armour on the wiki, but maybe you meant the Lion of Orlais, which is a shield? In that case, it was Emile Deveraux who used it.
Cullen Deveraux. Huh.

Hmm
Hmmmmmmm
I could maybe be okay with this.
Him joining because he wanted to be a Knight was actually part of his cut dialogue in DA:O. Makes me wonder if they've decided to run with it after all?
If this is true... Noo I really was not caring about Cullen but I think I'm gonna fall for the dork. ARGGHH. ![]()
I mean that in a good way... I like dorky guys. ![]()
HEY YOU! Yes YOU!

I've been wanting to tell you for the longest time that I love all of your photoshop jobs! And your awesome enthusiasm in all of your posts! We've never talked before, but I'm glad that you are back. ![]()
Is that the dude who Empress Celene liked to hear stories about when she was young?
Hm, perhaps the lion mask is just supposed to be symbolic instead?
I have no idea! Does she mention him in TME? I've only just begun reading it. Hang on, I'ma go hunt through my e-book and check her wiki page.
