Hmmmmmmm i wonder if Brianne is scared of us o3o
I wonder that too. I'll draw something nice for her when I get home tonight ![]()
Edit. I just feel bad sometimes about bothering people on twitter like that. They are probably working hard on the game right now, work extra hours too, and they spend their free time to connect with us like that and answer our silly questions. I want to let them know that we appreciate it ![]()

I was thinking...
Maybe after the game comes out, we could send an e-thank you card/actual thank you card to the Bioware team? If so, it'd probably be easier to send an e-thank you card rather than a physical one (since I dunno how that would work. We send it to each other, add our things and then send it off to the next person? Scan stuff on? How do people usually do this?
), but if you guys would prefer to send a physical one, I live in Edmonton, and I've been to Bioware. I could drop it off.

I dunno if she's scared or more thinking she was going to get overrun by fans. She's been pretty great so far and it must be nice know so many people are appreciating a character you're writing? Hopefully she doesn't feel like she's waiting for fan backlash once it's release cause of something silly they didn't like etc Im hoping thats not even a small thought)

That sounds like a splendid Idea. I'd be happy to contribute some "more PG" photoshops.

For what it's worth, I always envision the Bioware team to imagine us as the DA equivalent of 'Twilight fans'. o.o'I think she'll like that

IDK, some of them like us because we tend to be pretty positive. There are some... colorful people.
Anyway, I'm going to go to bed!
It was wonderful returning to the thread. THANK YOU SO MUCH for being awesome people!

Well, she IS taking over for writing a fan favorite character, so I can imagine the fear of backlash! Imagine having to be thrust into such a role. Idk if I can

I think controversial is more accurate than fan favourite-- and perhaps even more daunting? There is a lot of split opinions over Cullen, and I hope no one turns hate towards his new writer over whatever comes to pass. D:
I don't know her personally, of course, but looking at her twitter and how the other writers talk about her, she seems like a sweetie.

I don't think so. (Or if she is, she hides it well.) She's been interacting very pleasantly with us. I just don't think she uses Twitter as much as some of the other devs.

I have a crazy idea to ask you to commission a templar cake for them. I would paypal you the money. I'll start saving now
I have no idea how much such cakes cost in Canada though.

I was referring more to our rather 'boisterous' group when stating fan favorite...but I can see how haters can play into that as well!

Omg, I would totally get in on this. They get all of my money when I buy their merch anyway, might as well spend some of it on a gift for them, they are so hardworking. *throws more money at Bioware*

Well, it would depend on where I'd order the cake from, but it shouldn't be terribly expensive, even if it's a very large cake. But I could also just make it myself as well.
I like baking and decorating.
Oh! I know we've discussed what kind of ice cream flavour Cullen would be (I think it was caramel with praline? sweet yet salty?), but if Cullen were a scent or wore cologne, what do you think it would smell like? I ask because I just remembered that there's a person who used to make custom perfumes and colognes based on people's custom Shepards, Wardens and Hawkes, as well as a lot of the NPC's. I think they went on hiatus though, or I totally would have ordered the Garrus and the SSV Normandy one.
Found them! This is the person who made the custom scents and things!
Edit: D'oh! I'm friends with a bunch of chefs and cooks. I can just ask them for rec's on bakeries I could commission a Templar cake from!
Edit 2: Oh look, they actually made a scent for Cullen.

Cut dialogue? This I've never heard of. May I ask where it can be found??
Some modders restored it for the Cullen romance mod, lemme see if I can find the video... aha! Ok from 3:31:
"When you knew me, I was an innocent. I wanted to be a Knight, but I never really thought about why we were needed. Now, my eyes have been opened. The naivete I once had is gone forever. But I welcome the change as long as it helps me better serve the Chantry. You are a mage and I, a Templar. It is my duty to oppose you and all you are."

Oooh this is a really good idea. Have it sent on launch day as a Thank you. One of those big multi flavor jobs with the Templar logo and Cullenites Love Bioware?

Yeah but I was hoping code from being inside your party would exist. If he was a party member at any point in the game with his own set of abilities then you could extract the code and it would make making the mod much easier. I'm not sure Frostbite 3 will have many mods as it is because the engine is fairly complex.
I suppose it could be still possible if he's out in combat beside you doing his own thing. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I know this is wayyy back (just playing catch up) and not sure if this has been mentioned, but, Cullen was never a companion in DAO either but with the Karmas Companion mod you can have him in your party.
I'm not saying they can with the Frostbite engine but if there's a way and if there is a modder inclined to do it, I'm sure it could be a possibility...don't give up hope ![]()
