Thank you for your kind interactions with the Cullen fans. Can't wait for 10/7! I have one clearly crucial question if you'd (1/2)

User

care to answer it: was Cullen the character your dream turned into a stack of sentient loonies (in your tweet a while back?) (2/2)

Brianne Battye ‏@bbattye

haha, yes it was   :) And I felt simply terrible about it! I tried so hard to transform him back!

What? Sack of what?

What? Sack of what?

The canadians call their one dollar coin loonie :)

edit: found the tweets

Dreamed I accidentally turned a character into a stack of sentient coins (loonies). The coins had amnesia. No help in breaking the spell.

@bbattye Which character? Was it [REDACTED?]

B. Battye ‏@bbattye

@SherylChee Yes - it was [REDACTED]. The amnesiac loonie-version anyway. I was working on transforming them back before ship.

@bbattye @SherylChee Hey! What have we told you about turning characters into sentient, amnesia, piles of loose change? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

That's literally an insane thing to call currency. No offence Canadians.

Sounds like an ideal husband  I hope he doesn't have amnesia.

Oh wait, lyrium...  :o

So, his name is not Cullen Cullen. Or just Cullen. I was hoping that Cullen was the "Cher" of Thedas, lol! *prays to the Maker that his name is not Cullen Edwards

He has a last name now!? Ahhh, this game is making me so anxious. The backstory I planned for him is probably all wrong and I want to know what it is. Never thought that such a minor character would have a huge following and a bigger role in later DA games. I thought I would be safe from canon lol.

"Reaver isn't the Warrior spec that Sera has concerns about." - Luke

Interesting little titbit from the Sera thread. Posted because of potential implications with her relationship with Cullen.

Interesting. So it's either Cullen as a Templar, or whoever is the Champion (Cass or Blackwall).

That's interesting!

I could see it being templars, seeing we know Sera roots for the underdog/the 'little people', and not only are the rogue Templars/Red Templars up to shenanigans, but they're all 'known' for beating on the underdogs.

...Or she could just be worried about people going crazy because of lyrium.

I think her issue with templar (if she has) is about lyrium addiction.

Oh! Bioware did say our specialisations will have some plot significance, didn't they? At the very least some of them. What if lyrium and addiction are addressed if Warrior Inquisitors choose to become Templars?

...I may, for the first time in history, have to roll a warrior in one of my playthroughs.

I'd love the lyrium addiction to finally be addressed for the PC.
Though I played warriors more then you. My canons in DAO and DA2 are warriors.

If it is the Templar spec she has issues with, I hope she doesn't take issue with my romancing Cullen. Otherwise, it's looking less and less likely I'll have my two elven besties that I've wanted since Origins.

Just to be different, may I suggest that it may be Champions that bother Sera? They very well may be the second closest thing to the chevaliers. (Doubtfully the case, however.)

Also, to keep on topic -u-

I'll swap you, it's 13 degrees celsuis (I think like 55F?) & windy here and I'm freezing with the heater on!
Think of us in the southern hemisphere going through a very cold snap after a warm autumn... it's bloody cold!

13 degrees Celsius? That's like an exceptionally warm winter day in Canada.

That's literally an insane thing to call currency. No offence Canadians.

Well, that's not the official name. We just call it that because it has a common loon on the front.

Winter? More like summer...perfect day to go to the beach!

I'm kidding of course :P That would be a rather warm day in the winter.

I could see her having issues with Templars in general; I'm curious why you think it'd be about the lyrium addiction itself.

I'm fascinated with the implications of lyrium addiction and want to hear what others think. :)

Well, it's 14 degrees right now where I'm at and it's windy and rainy. I'm still in shorts, though.

Anything above zero is a nice winter day, really.

I'm all about them rogues, usually.

Except in DAII. I love the mage in DAII.

...And I imported my Amell into DAII just for cousin shenanigans.

I'm not entirely sure Champions are... counted like that, exactly. If they're the same as in DA:O, I'm expecting the Champion to be Cassandra. Seeing she's, you know, the hero of Orlais and stuff. I think Champions are just chosen when awesome people do awesome things.
