Dumat's deader than disco. The Elder One's probably something else.

I feel even the bad guys will be giving me feels in this game. Alexius and his voice acting kicked major arse, and I was feeling sorry for his feels over his son just watching that demo. And Dorian was giving me feels. And Leliana.
Ugh, my emotions are not ready for this game and I can't wait!
Ugh, this demo is awesome. I love how even the target-finder circle for where you put a fireball is freaking gorgeous. And I've been having a hard time "recognizing" Leliana's new appearance as "her" in stills, but the VO really helps, which has exciting implications for my ability to mentally file New Cullen as Cullen by the time I start the game.
Yeah, I know the first time we hear Greg Ellis' voice come out of Cullen's face, we'll all be *collective sigh*.
Don't get me wrong, I *love* how he looks, how Leliana looks (Alright, everyone looks amazing), but I also know we have what we're used to in our heads. ![]()

What happened? My pc has some issues and I have to wait until tomorrow for the technician to fix it... And it's difficult to keep. up and navigate in the thread from my phone. :-(
The second part of the demo is out!!
Ah thanks! Do you have the link? The second part of the demo is out!!
Also, press reviews are released! : ) Here's the discussion thread with the links: http://forum.bioware.../#entry16932542

...I'm torn between sending Cullen out on quests now. Especially this one. I don't fancy "damaging" my first PT with him, but just imagine the story! The look on Leliana's face at the end though
I think Cullen would be releasing his inner lion at that point.
Also, is this the first we've heard that the story reacts to which companions come on specific quests? Or have I missed that?
I think, I can hope, that if you choose to send Cullen in, your aren't sending him alone. Choose Leliana, and she goes in by herself to spy. Send Cullen, and you send in a chunk of the army as well. Which means, maybe things aren't so effed up when you get there.

Hopefully not. I'd hate to see him revert back to hating mages, though the more information that's released on him the less likely I think it is that he will. Of course PTSD isn't exactly straightforward, and neither are Bioware, so we'll just have to wait and see. But that smooch scene suggested by Potato Cat wouldn't go amiss >_>
An embargo was lifted today on E3 hands-on demo impressions from DA:I. I imagine heaps of media websites and press outlets will be releasing previews very shortly,
Here's a list, I'll update it as we get more.

This thread has ruined the word embargo for me. Much like how the Garrus thread ruined 'freshly ploughed snow'. ![]()

I'm not convinced they'll go down the PTSD route with Cullen anymore what with them saying Iron Bull has PTSD.
I have to admit hearing Iron Bull has PTSD was one helluva shock, I wasn't expecting that from him at all.

Yeah, I think they will just show him as someone who has been through some serious crap and has come out, not unscathed, but stronger. I like to think he's accepted the duality of 'human' nature in everyone, whether they're a mage or not.

Maybe it's something to do with the whole "Demons. Demons everywhere." thing?
I find myself seriously desiring Cole's ridiculous hat.

I thought something along those lines when they said he fears nothing but the past. But then I was like, nah that's Cullen's thing, dawg! They won't steal Cullen's thing!
Then they did.
I'm so used to characters who are 'afraid' of their pasts, I was just expecting he might have done something that got someone else killed or whatever-- which still might have happened, of course. I just wasn't linking it to PTSD.
