Hey! Only 11 more Tuesdays until we get the game!
But that means there's also that many Mondays until we get the game. I have to do things on Mondays. I hate doing things. ![]()

"So it’s really very complex, about how much control the players have over the types of content. And as I was saying before, that whole demo you saw, in the last half of it, when you’re fighting with Alexius and Felix, not all the players are going to see that, because going into that area is the result of a branching choice in the game. So you may have picked another area and you wouldn’t be going into that castle at all, you’d be going somewhere else entirely."
So It appears that tortured Cullen may not happen depending on our choices.

I wonder if this means that Redcliffe Castle is an opportunity linked to Inquisition resources, much like capping sulfur vents in the Western Approach was during the PAX/Digiexpo demo? I believe the devs mentioned that you will not have enough resources to complete EVERY event in an area, so you'll have to pick and choose.
Thank you!
I think Kirrahe will be more disappointed with Bioware then really upset over it. He was hoping he would be bi just to change up the stereotype. Kirrahe is an easy going guy though, and he also has mentioned that he won't mind terribly (personally) because he plays female characters sometimes. When we talked about it he always said he figured they would make him a straight character and that he wasn't expecting Bioware to have him be bi even though Cullen does have a very large following of gay men and women who want to play male characters.
I believe the exact quote when he found out they were doing split romances was "Well there goes a male inquisiters chance at romancing Cullen. It doesn't matter that gays have been fans of him from the begining, Bioware is more ahead of other companies in regards to equality which is great but they will still keep the romances the general stereotypes of Gay, bi and lesbian characters, I guess we just aren't there yet. Soon though hopefully. "
So he will be disappointed but not angry.
I (Cassie) am personally bummed out for all the people that wanted to play as a guy and romance him. Did they say why they made him straight and the other advisor bi? Also it makes me a little more upset because so many people said Cullen shouldn't be bi because that would be "disgusting" and "wrong" for his character because he is religious, brave and masculine and probably doesn't sleep around. Now it makes it seem like bioware agrees with them, even if they don't.
But! I don't want a fight to start so that's all! Thank you for the news and video's!
Did someone send you the "get well soon" image I made for Kirrahe?
Thank ou so much for updating us on Kirrahe! I hope he gets better very soon! Send him my well wishes. ![]()
So I'm drunk as all get-out y'all but i just wanted to say how happy I am to hear Dorian's and Sera's voices in full! I most likely wil be sending Cullen ito Redlicff - he is an ex-templar, so I would thinhk seinding him into a situation with mages makes more sense. Not to turture him, but to because of his abiliites and experiecnce. It was very intersitng to see Leliana act the way she does. This has mad eme fery happy I spent all the money i did on the inquisitor's edition and the PS4r. XD
Thank you!

Godspeed, Kirrahe!
We will hold the line until you return to us.
I ran out of likes, but this, yes. ![]()

I too was hoping Cullen would be bisexual for the very same reason. I only play female characters, (except maybe to romance Cassandra now), but I really, really wanted him to be bisexual. I am glad with Josephine being bisexual though, since she seems to be the opposite of the stereotype. I suspect her romance will be pretty sweet, girl next door, etc, but with the sexy Antivan accent. I find myself rolling my eyes at Iron Bull though, since he's been hinted to be the promiscuous LI of Inquisition. But one out of (assumed) 4 bisexual, isn't bad I suppose.
They didn't say why they made him and Cassandra straight, nor do I think they will. At least before the game is released. I know David Gaider 'apologised' (probably not the right word...expressed his sympathies?) for making Cassandra straight since she had a lot of female fans. I think the majority of her thread was female actually.

Hi, Cassie!Hi everyone! It's Cassie -Kirrrahe's official news reporter!
Sorry for the late update-we have been busy!
I haven't been on to let you know how things are going but so far he is still in stable condition. He still gets seizures and is having a hard time with things like how high his temperature gets, trouble with his memory and sever nausea and headaches. The doctors all say none of these are a life threatening issue so he is now in the stage of psychical therapy and Occupational therapy! So he is making big, big progress!
He says hello to everyone and hopes you are all doing great. I don't know if Eric can read the thread but if you CAN he loves the picture you made him. It's literally his laptop background!
Also for some happy/sweet news his partner actually got his very FIRST tattoo that says "I'm in love with a man that hold the line"

Also any big news since the Cullen reveal? I haven't kept up and I need to keep Kirrahe's happy folder big!
I come bearing smut! It was originally written in February but I have edited it today so it is now far more superior

I actually hope each person acts differently. I'd hate to have the whole 'keep the dialogue but just switch the person' ordeal occur throughout the game. Even if it differs by just a small tad, that would be awesome!
What if instead of saying "You're alive," Cullen says something along the lines of, "How do I know you're real?" or "This again? I know this isn't real."
too soon?
This has been asked plenty of times already, but with new info maybe you changed your mind? What kind of character will be your first to romance Cullen? (Race/class/personality/looks anything you want to include basically. : P)

What's to say that he will even get captured? He could go in and kick ass, smiting left and right and we will find him leaning against the wall with his arms folded over his chest and a guy hanging from the ceiling, "And what took you so long, Inquisitor?"

That would be....amazing.
This damn game. The more I hear about it, the more almost tempted I become to juggle two playthroughs of it at the same time. Race, class, LI... so many things to choose between and for the first time I'm torn on everything! ![]()

Oh, heavens, I still have no idea. I probably won't have any idea right up until I see the CC. ![]()
Right at this second, though? I'm leaning towards human mage or dwarf rogue. Or a qunari mage or rogue, if he's not race-gated.

Ooof! Cullen smut. The best kind of smut!
Going off of my previous post, I understand everyone being upset, but getting the devs involved is just a little too far. Channeling your emotions on thread? That's fine. But expecting some sort of apology and antagonizing the devs isn't right and is, to some extent, a bit childish. They are going out of their way to give us this information. They could've easily just stated nothing and let everyone figure out for themselves what does what and who likes who. Think about how many people made such a huge deal about Dorian being gay! It was blatantly obvious that after a while the devs (More so David as he is the writer) were becoming upset with the blaming and constant interviews/tweeting about not only David's phrasing of his sexuality, but the fact that he is one of the first gay characters. Sorry if I'm going off on a tangent, but I just get so upset when I see others blame and attack the devs for every single detail they put out. I can 100% understand being upset, but don't bring the devs into this. They're doing us a service and should be treated with respect for going out of their way to answer questions.
No matter what the developers do it will NEVER be enough. The developers DO NOT OWE US ANYTHING. They have a reason for for the things THEY DO...and I too am sick of the bullying and viciousness some of the fandom has.
You can't get everything you want in this world. BioWare has done MORE for representation than ANY OTHER GAMING COMPANY. Yet its NEVER enough.
Sure I was upset by some of the decisions BUT I WILL ADAPT. Some of the viciousness, conspiracy theorys, and over entitlement I see from the fandom is truly sad.
People really need to take a step back and a hard look in the mirror because bullying is NOT going to get you more.
Human apostate. I don't know how much the game will allow me to roleplay, but the idea was to make her somewhat like Disney's Ariel. She comes out of her forest, where she was hiding from the templars, and she has great surviving skills, but little understanding of the big world out there. She will be Josephine's biggest nightmare, because she doesn't understand politics, she will be Cullen's nightmare, because big military operations will probably scare her to death. Leliana will probably manipulate herThis has been asked plenty of times already, but with new info maybe you changed your mind? What kind of character will be your first to romance Cullen?
