A lion. A giant lion. A giant BAMF lion. Like Aslan from Narnia lion status. : P
Dude I was totally thinking that too!
If Cullen had a mount, what mount do you think he would have?
EVERYONE knows that Cullen named his mount Muffin. No? Just me?

I used to watch that show. The original.

Ohhh! Him! Okay. He's Lola's inside source, isn't he?
Nick? Naaaaaaw, he's the guy I like to drag onto the podcasts at random and embarrass him when playing Cards Against Humanity, lol!
There is an alliGaider lurking in the background. (I'm so sorry, I had to)

That does make me happy. And she looks awesome, and like she's having a blast. ![]()
So someone asked earlier about whether or not we'd seen Orlesian templars... and I lost the quote. But, to my knowledge, it's just what we saw in DotS, which ostensibly prides itself on being 'canon.' ![]()

They don't describe Evangeline's uniform apart from her red cloak.
But on the sword of mercy point up vs. down and how many flames, etc., they seem to take quite a bit of license with it, even using multiple versions within DA2 itself. Dunno if it means anything or if the individual smith or artist just makes it how he/she sees fit.

You know, I know that her outfit is from the book cover... but did anyone else really imagine Celene's mask looking like that? Like, on a long stick?

That was me! Thank you for digging this up. ![]()

Before I saw the book cover I pictured it as just a mask, no stick. Like the kind you tie on.
After seeing the book cover, I still entirely missed that the mask was on a long stick, I've all the time believed it was on a short one. Didn't notice that it was long until now that I saw the cosplay picture.

Bloody right.

No, I don't picture it like that at all. I would think it would be really awkward. ![]()

They've done a damned good job so far. More than most other developers, at least.

Yeah, I had pictured it while reading the book at being tied on somehow, too. I know she had different versions of her mask, but that all had the same style/theme or something. I need to dig up the description, but this isn't quite what I had in mind. For one thing, it's not a very secure way to hide your face, I would think.
EDIT:
So, Celene's mask is repeatedly called a half-mask. And at one point she tears it off and then "slides" it back into place.
"With a quick jerk, Celene tore the mask from her face."
...
"Then she stood, picking up her mask and sliding it back into place as she did..."
Sounds an awful lot like it's attached to me.
