I know; it's a full on mystery now. I'm not even going to entertain the thought that it's Cullen. Cullen fans have had ENOUGH disappointment. Plus, we KNOW him, and there's nothing about his character that says he'd turn down a dwarf or a qunari woman. Not for ideological reasons and obviously now not for cinematic reasons.

Ah, man, there goes my theory about who will be race-gated.

 

Literally shaking. Now to figure out how in the world either Solas or Blackwall is race gated.

My money is now on Vivienne (if she will be romanceable) for story reasons and Dorian. Maybe Vivienne wouldn't be open for all races because relationships with some races could have negative effects on her career. And Dorian because of the tevinter-qunari conflict. No idea why Blackwall would be race gated if he were an option.

He doesnt seem to me to e the tyoe of man who would engage in a sexual relationship with any female who showed an interest, so again, I would not be surprized.

I would think that the writers will determine race gating not on the preferences of fans, but on what makes sense given the character.
