I, personally, just don't like talking to people via social media.....especially people I do not know in person.

I'm the exact opposite. Talking over the internet is MUCH easier for me than talking to people face to face. I avoid the HELL out of that where I can. orz

Me too. I feel like I can be myself more and balls to the wind.

Even if sometimes I find trying to explain myself a tad more difficult. I talk with my hands and am a very visual person. I don't know how to sometimes the grammar and words. I'd be a horrible author.

I wish my dad's side of the family magical artist with minimal effort gene didn't skip me.

I'm sorry! My fault we went off topic! I'll never do it again till next time I start blathering about something.

You know, I had always just assumed Cullen didn't have a lot of schooling (of the non-templar variety, anyway) but the letter he sent Hawke was pretty eloquent. I'm starting to rethink that. Maybe chantry schooling at least?

Within the next 12 hours, I predict a follower friday announcement.

5 soverigns on Solas DAO_gold_stack.png

Varric and Cassandra already have plenty of coverage, plus have been in-game previously. So I don't really see them there...

I wonder if there finally is some info that makes me like Solas. Since now I just don't know anything about the man.. other than that he's bald apostate elf. Elves have been my favs in both games so there is high change I will like Solas too ^^

I imagine all Templars likely have to have schooling or are given schooling/education on how to write and the like.

To draw from a real world parallel which may or may not work for DA: reading and writing and the like was often reserved for anyone involved in the clergy during the medieval period.

Saying that....

Education seems to be easier to find in Thedas. The mages in the tower were obviously getting an education and the like, after all. Though that might have been because of the Chantry, I suppose.

Hmmm...

Hawke does mention Anders' spelling being awful.

I mean, some people are just horrible at spelling. Or Justice may have been "WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR PROPER GRAMMAR, YOU FOOLISH MORTAL" i'd think of it as an injustice, but whatever floats his boat

Speaking about Thedas' education, I'd love to see The University of Orlais in DAI.  :D

If he went through chantry schooling, I can imagine that from his word choices and his letter, Cullen would have very neat handwriting.

Compared to Alistair, who I reckon would have barely paid attention in class and spent most of his time doodling. Even as a King, I can imagine Alistair has such a messy scrawl that the court officials are constantly struggling to decipher it and have taken to simply getting him to dictate what he wants to write and getting him to sign it afterwards.

Maybe Anders tried to escape the tower so often he missed out on all his writing lessons.

So my bet for Follower Friday is for someone that we haven't heard about yet, but have possibly seen, like the Grey Warden, Sera, or Flaily.

But I really hope it's Cullen.

I think it'd be cool (and such a silly, minor thing) if letters in DAI looked personalized instead of how DA2 was. Like an actual piece of parchment with unique handwriting depending on who sent it.

Out of the unknowns, I most would like to see Flailytridentmoustach guy. We have the least amount of information about him. A concept art, and survey art appearance.

I would actually like that. It also reminds me of Animal Crossing.

I think that would take too much time and effort to implement, but that is an awesome idea! ^^

The love notes you get from your LI at the end of the romance path in SW:TOR are pretty adorable, not gonna lie.

I have a suspicion that in Anders' manifesto, aside from the spelling mistakes and bad grammar, if you look closely you can see he (or Justice) has been subconsciously causing the first letter of each line to spell out "KILL ALL TEMPLARS".
