Anders randomly hitting on Hawker didn't bother me at all.Apparently Anders hits on male Hawke and gives you rivalry points if you aren't interested. It didn't go down too well with some vocal players.
I think people were more upset that you received rivalry points rather then just being hit on. There was no neutral option for Anders. There should have been an easy out instead you were presented with two love options and one heartbreak.
I was about to edit my post to include that as an after thought. You are right, there shouldn't have been any rivalry points for the PC stating that they weren't interested but then there is another part of me that thinks it actually kind of fits, what with the scale of his emotions being very up and down and all that jazz. I think him being merged with justice made him have extreme emotional reactions to everything whether they be happy, sad, romantic, anger, rejection, envy etc.

Welllll, not that I don't like them, it's just... Solas really appeals to me, which I actually found surprising. After his interview, I was just really impressed with him. I guess I could romance Blackwall, but I don't know, not sure how to word it. I just feel like we've explored the whole romance with a grey warden story, although he is older, and his romance could blow the doors off of what I imagine a romance with him would be like. I will say, the only LI's I find appealing physically are Cullen and Dorian. I don't really find Solas attractive, but his personality seems so cool that I don't even care about his face. I hope that makes sense and I don't sound like I'm a character from Clueless.You don't like the other guys? (Bar Dorian)
With Dorian, I may romance him with a malequisitor, but way on down the line, if I ever make one. I Iike to play as female mostly, but I have made males in the past, so it wouldn't be that big of a deal. It just seems refreshing to have an intellectual like Solas possibly available as a romance option. As for Varric, I love him to bits! However, I'm unsure how I feel about him as a lover.
