Yes, IB is confirmed. Personally, I think romance options are a very good selection this time around. I want to romance all of them! Which means 8 Inquisitors...challenge accepted. I can't decide whether my first playthrough Inquisitor (a Lavellan Mage) will romance Cullen or Iron Bull (or possibly one of the other unconfirmed ones once we know the race restrictions).
Man, I can be so indecisive, especially when all the choices are so good!

I know! I am thinking of doing 8 playthroughs as well just to see all the romances. My first playthrough is going to be VERY difficult >.< And if they confirm Solas as an option for females then I will probably explode.

I am having so much difficulty choosing first romance. Cullen, IB, Sera, maybe even Viv and Solas, I think I am just gonna flip a coin in the end. I always fail at the romances without spoilers, and since I am going into this without spoilers, I am gonna have to do so so so many playthroughs. I just know that I am gonna accidentally flirt, accidentally not flirt, accidentally trigger cut-scenes. It's gonna be chaos. Loading saves left and right. Then I am gonna end up sitting on my bed with a bucket of ice cream, crying about how I can't get Cullen to love me.
Just thought I should clarify my statement about the 'Ander's thing' because I'm not sure I expressed myself clearly.
There were various objections to the specific conversation in which Hawke rejects Ander's advances. Some people objected to the rivalry points and conversation options. Some people objected to a male making romantic overtones to their male character. Some people objected to both.
I don't think we will see companions initiate romances because of the negative response from the player base that objected to Ander's hitting on them. There is an easy path for Bioware to avoid this issue again by having the protagonist signal their interest first. So why would they risk potentially alienating their consumer base unnecessarily.

Well, if Adaar is first-generation out of the Qun, that would mean her parents had to choose their own names. Could be as simple as one of them deciding that would be their last name. Perhaps they snuck out on a boat together, and that was one of the first things they saw?
