Did you post Hissra in the group? I don't remember her, but I remember Elidri and Esmerelda. I like that you're covering all races... I've yet to formulate a qunari playthrough... Hmm. 
 
Whelp mine are still as follows; I hate how things are up in the air still for so many:
 
Blackwall, with Auren, elven (archer) rogue 
Iron Bull, with Kael, elven mage
Sera, with Adele/Odette/Alina (not sure), human (S&S... I think) warrior
Josephine, with unnamed dwarf DW rogue
 
EDIT: Forgot to do my alts... well if there's no Blackwall then it'll def. be Auren with Bull; Kael will get moved to fourth place, when I'll be ready to romance Bull again I guess lol
 
I love the name "Ren"; that's actually one of my canon Wardens
 
By the way I have four world states planned to go with all four of these, and yes I know which world states are going with which playthroughs

Yeah, Hissra's in there. In a weird Elsa dress because of the doll maker's limitations, but still. And I can't wait to see your human of many names!

(Oh and I intentionall stole Ren from you. I thought it would be adorables on my dwarf)

I hope we get Solas. I need a nerdy dude that loves to sleep as much as I do. XD And that accent...come on...As much as I adore Varric, it's between him and the elf now aaaaaaand this girl needs that elf. XD
 
Super glad IB is a bi option - and not race-gated? SWEET! His romance scenes should be cute...kneeling down to kiss Cadash. XD

I've always hated sleep. Even as a baby, my mum says I tried to fight it. So literally the only thing Solas has going for him from my point of view is the Welsh accent. MASSIVE thing for Welsh accents.

I was the same at first, I just sat on the character page for a good 5 minutes looking at the one with his sword raise thinking...what have they done to you?

His head down shot does make his mouth look too far away from his nose but that one is really fast growing on me and I must admit I actually love that one now, he kind of has a sexy smouldering look about him. But it was when I saw this one...'there you are'! 

Yeah, the others are growing on me as well, but it's taking some time... and effort to avoid staring at the nose.

I actually don't mind that his face doesn't look perfect from every angle. I mean doesn't everyone have that photo of themselves they hate? Usually the driver's licence.

The character I want to hook him up with is pretty inexperienced. So I hope, he's not like, 'Babe, I'm gonna shag you senseless', as someone once said to me to get me in the mood. (Rest assured he was swiftly slapped and didn't get any) Or at least, if you turn him down there, the romance continues. Like a Jack romance.

A selfish part of me is hoping he'll be this big, gruff seeming guy but a total SWEETHEART underneath all that. That will hit my favourite character archtype button like a fright train and Cullen and Dorian might find themselves benched for a while.

Yeah, that's my point. He's a 3-dimensional person, and so from certain angles he'll look different. It is a bit disconcerting that I'm personally only really fond of ONE of those angles so far, but we're still dealing in small number statistics.   And I doubt his model is set in stone already anyway. 

 

Regardless, he looks like Cullen, which is all I really wanted.

Well, to be fair two of those angles are a sort of... looking up at him/looking straight on but with his head tilted upwards and the other is a downwards angle. Those two angles can be the worst depending on the lighting. .

Coming back to Cullen's possible race gating, I agree that if he's the only male straight romance, he probably won't be further gated.

 

But, from the lore, I don't think it's a stretch to expect that he has some prejudices toward non-Andrastians. The one thing we all seem to agree on is that he's rather steeped in the Chantry's indoctrination. While other races do join the Templar ranks, it's still rather rare. In the brief convos we've had with him around the subject, he seemed to throw out the word 'heathen' readily, so I could easily see that being part of his mindset. Not that he's a rampant racist or something, but that he might be a bit sheltered about his views in some arenas. But again, we've seen no evidence of it being such a big issue for him that the romance would be race-gated.

For me it wasn't that he didn't look perfect, well from the sword raised pic particularly. It was more that he wasn't looking like Cullen. I was dreading a rerun of the Alistair change in DA2. And I had so many issues with characters that had too much of a gap between nose and mouth, it throws off all proportions to me.

I'm thinking the last 2 reveals will be the race gated ones because..

Cullen,Cass,Sera and Dorian have already been gender gated, and Josephine and Iron Bull are not gated at all.

 

Thinking Varric will be one and gated to dwarves only. I think he will be a LI so we have at least one of each race. And Vivienne may be gated to humans only.

That's what I meant! I would like that conversation to still happen, just without the race gating. What I meant is that game mechanics couldn't, like, make him race-gated until certain conversations have been triggered and completely successfully first. (Well, I suppose it COULD be coded that way, but I doubt they would.)

LOL I see! I think angles and lighting just make it look different. I would expect "good" and "bad" is in the eye of the beholder. 

 

I also wonder if he'll inevitably look slightly different between cut scenes and his running around model. Fenris always looked very different  between the two for me. I dunno what it was about the upclose cutscene Fenris, but boy, he made me melt into a puddle of goo every time.
