Yea my first Origin was Dalish elf and that one only brings you tears through the game. Not only our best friend disappeares and probaply is dying alone slowly somewhere, he comes as ghoul later on the game to tell you that he always loved you and begs you to kill him. Like wtf BW, games are supposed to be for fun!

I never played through the Dalish origins all the way to the end of the game so I just looked this up and D : Oh my god that is the saddest thing in the world. Oh god whyyyyyy. My feelsuh. T-T My heart, ouch it hurts.

 

(Although I love the fact that Dragon Age games can make you feel things like that. I hope there are moments like this in DAI too even if I sob for three days straight!)

Yea it's even more tragic when before it in the Gauntlet you see Tamlen's ghost, say goodbye to him and he says to you: "We won't meet again." You liar!

I wonder if Cullen will break up with a mage inquisitor if he gets sent to be tortured in redcliffe (his place of birth)

Or if we bump into the our old mage warden. Make it happen!

Dalish Warden is really moving, but I felt like I did it wrong by choosing to play male. Also I let the slavers have the elves for a stupid reason.

no idea Well, I kind of suspected that since Alistair says that a templar monastery was somewhere nearby, and if we assume Cullen was trained there too, then maybe a farm boy Cullen grew up somewhere near that monastery. But it's just an assumption. There may be many monasteries in Ferelden. "Nearest" may not mean Hinterlands, it may mean Amaranthine of West Hill, or anything else. Cullen may be a Chantry kid, and they just shipped him across the country from a random orphanage.
