Yes, because of her the Wardens were exiled from Ferelden, until Maric let them return (because Fiona was that awesome! And Maric loves elves!), and Levi apparently was one of those people who supported the Warden's return.

Late but I am so happy to hear there will be more obvious markers that 'this quest will get you a companion.' I missed Sten and Leliana multiple times until I saw them online. xD

Hee! My question was the Cullen surname one. What I took from that was his last name isn't anything important, no super-surprising-awesome-ties. Just a normal surname for a normal dude. Good enough for me!

Cullen fan here. One of the main reasons why I'm going to buy DAI.
He's been through a lot and I can't wait to see how he's going to turn out now. Second best character of DA2, and the way he stood up against Meredith was my favorite moment in the game.
It's really disappointing that Cullen won't be a companion, but hopefully he will be in future DLCs.
I'm sad that he isn't companion either. To me what i look forward most is talking to Cullen and see him in the game, I will romance him but I'd change romance to companionship anyday ^^

So, I'm constructing a Cullen cosplay for my boyfriend to wear for the Edmonton Expo 2015 (because there's no way I'll have it finished in time for September this year), and I've been thinking of making a cosplay for myself as well. I'm thinking either going as my canon Shepard (because she looks like me anyway) in N7 armour, my Inquisitor or Cassandra. I think I'm a little short to be Cassandra but such is the magic of high heeled boots

Ooo, make way for some crossover fanfiction I think going as your Shepard would be cool, but I never really got into ME, so maybe I'm not the best source on this. And Cullen/Quizzy

On another note, how do you guys think Cullen would react to a Knight-Enchanter, seen as they're supposed to be rare and I'm guessing that, besides Kirkwall, he won't have seen many mages in 'battle-mode', or at 'battle-mode' that doesn't include blood magic. I don't think it'll be a great focus in game, but I just keep imagining him wondering what the hell Quizzy is doing up front on the battlefield rather than with the other mages.

My favorite choice would be inquisitor+Cullen

Thank you all for your answers! I'm thinking Cassandra at the moment, although once the game comes out I might change my mind once I can see all the cool and different armours I can make for my Quizzy Cosplaying as my Inquisitor to go along with my boyfriend's Cullen (my boyfriend even looks like Cullen!) would be the optimal choice, but I do like Cassandra's character design a lot. Although I can't even really start making the Cullen cosplay until the game comes out so I can get more camera angle shots for reference, or unless they release Cullen's character kit.

Haha, that's what I was thinking of too! Then Cullen would take down this huge demon and she'd be like "That still only counts as one!" before throwing a magic dagger at the head of a demon running towards Cullen....yeah I get the weird mental images too haha
Imagine if he only knew that they were a mage and didn't know they could fight with magic weapon-y things until the final battle

Yeah, I'm just thinking 'skyrim-esque' with these weapons at the moment, but I can't wait to learn more about this class. Is there going to be more information revealed on the classes before the game ships?

My monday was quite a busy drawing day. While people are celebrating the French revolution, I'm celebrating Cullen!

I dunno, I'm actually excited to have Cullen in the role of adviser rather than a companion. Not only does it make him seem more independent in my eyes, but each encounter with him will be more special/anticipated because my Inquisitor isn't able to take him anywhere.
It's hard to think of any video game romances aside from Bioware to relate that to, but one thing that comes to mind is Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. I would get so excited anytime Lara's sometimes rival, sometimes friend Kurtis would show up. Not only did they have this smokin' hot chemistry going, but he was this mysterious figure that I had no idea when he would reappear next. I know that game gets a lot of flak (oh gawd those controls, so much cursing to be had) but I really enjoyed the creepy story that kept me on my toes.
My point is I guess, it seems like we're going to have plenty of interaction with Cullen and our other advisers, and that I can't control when my Inquisitor is able to spend time with Cullen in such a war-torn atmosphere is something I'm looking forward to.
