My PS3 got the Yellow Light of Death two weeks before Mass Effect 3 was about to come out. I had actually been playing ME2 to set-up my transfer file, had over 120 hours into that one character alone. I may have had a minor breakdown where I laughed hysterically for, like, two hours. No joke. My father came to my rescue, however, and bought me a new one (because I have the best family ever). Of course, the PS3 doesn't have a transferable harddrive, so I had to use the blow-drying trick to transfer my stuff over to a new PS3.

 

So my fingers are crossed for you!

Could be your hardrive- My PS3 (backwards compatable model) got the red light- had to replace hardrive- cost $100 for basic replacement, then the Yellow light-had to get part re-sodered on but opted for thermal pad and fast service- $150. Red light fix- Sony around $200 for fix and shipping so that was a no go. Shop around for other places to fix it if you don't have a warantee or if you have a newer model - buying a new one might be cheapest. Good luck.

Well, even if it is the same one, I hope if it is publicly released, it'll show off an Inquisitor we haven't all seen before. Like and elf, or a male qunari.

Sooo... just watched the romance panel. I think the development lady (I didn't catch her name) dropped a few fun hints. 

 

She's talking about the varying nature of the romance stories and says they need to decide if a character is "my badass daddy type or my soft shoulder to cry on".

 

Um. Anyone else hear "badass daddy" and think Blackwall?? (and scream an internal OH YESSSS!!! altho that might just be me)

 

Or, would Cullen be a shoulder to cry on? Or would he freak out at tears (as my husband used to)?

What's really interesting is that in one of the previews recently aired, there was a female human warrior that had Templar powers. She sounded freakin awesome!

One of the devs, can't remember who, mentioned that the demos premiered for E3 were at least 3 months old.

"Badass Daddy" -- I couldn't think of anyone but Blackwall as well. Oddly enough, I think the shoulder to cry on might be Cass. I know, that's weird right?
