"Badass Daddy" -- I couldn't think of anyone but Blackwall as well. Oddly enough, I think the shoulder to cry on might be Cass. I know, that's weird right?

Could be! I forgot that she also said "soft" shoulder to cry on. Dunno if I'd describe Cullen as soft from what we've seen. LOL Or maybe it describes those (ridiculous) fluffy shoulder pads, come to think of it!

 

I suppose it could be anyone. Josephine as our "supporter" character. Varric as the guy with the box of tissues.

She's talking about the varying nature of the romance stories and says they need to decide if a character is "my badass daddy type or my soft shoulder to cry on".

*nod nod nod* Thanks for brightening my day by sharing this lol Yes it seems like she was saying... We (the writers) have to decide how this character's romance will play out... will he be a "badass daddy" or shoulder to cry on? I don't think that's referring to two different characters, but rather, how one character's romance would work.

 

And although the last thing I think of when I see Blackwall is "daddy"  I definitely think this could be him she's referring to!!!

Oh yesssss. Cullen is badass but too young to play Daddy.
If Blackwall is confirmed a LI I will consider to create a quizzy for him.
But first, I'll draw him and Cullen shirtless cause I think people on Tumblr are responding quite well to my 500+ notes challenge.
I had no idea that Cullen duelling BW would get so much love.

I always thought that underneath it all, Cass may be a bit of a soft touch. I imagine the oddest things and people would be able to worm their way into her heart. When I imagine Cole doing something -- like leaving loaves of bread of the battlefield -- and Sera going "Ah it's such a freak!" I can see Cass giving him a pat on the back in the background. *shrugs* but then I can't remember if it said anything in Coles blurb or Q&A about what Cass thinks of so we can probably stamp a big "WRONG" on that.

Even though she agreed with the inquisitor's decisions to not save the village, Cass did put a comforting hand on Varric's shoulder. So, there is that.

Well, if we're being freaking technical (Boooo!!), he's a fair bit younger than me, if he's in his early-mid thirties. So?! Don't judge me!!

*Peeking out of lurking* I would also love to contribute to the thank for Cullen if you would have me. I love Cullen and am so excited he is a romance. I don't post very often---I think posted some in April or whenever it was the new boards and went up and once in a blue moon on the old forums.

I've been waiting since DAO to get to know him better and love his development so far. My best friend and I often have Cullen discussions where I defend him

I think it's because she never did the templar ending and missed how Cullen takes responsibility for the mages you let go. "yes, that's what I believe being a templar is all about" (one of my favs)

If it is a closed thing and you aren't taking anybody that's okay too:) I will go back to lurking.

Also, offtopic does anyone have any good Cullen fanfics to recommend?
