Well I've had an interesting day. I've written a strange fanfic, I've defended Mr Gaider to an outraged little person, and I've made my first ever batch of shortbread. I think it might be time to go enjoy it

Random question time- /dances like a dork/
Do you think Cullen will be the sort of 'shoulder to cry on' like he was in DA:O? (For example when he tells the fem!mage that if she ever needed someone to talk to, he would listen. Would he give similar lines to the Inquisitor?) OR do you think he'll be a little bit more hardened and perhaps not really wish to hear about other people's problems because he's experienced so many of his own at this point?
I think it's both although I don't believe that the Inquisitor is the type of person who cries a lot. As for Cullen, I think he is hardened but also professional. He will keep his distance and be cautious at first. That's why he probably won't offer some extra time to talk or a shoulder to cry on in the beginning. But once he starts to trust the Inquisitor he will open up. You have to earn your pep talks.

Well, it's not like he was offering f!mage a shoulder to cry on in Origins. He just wanted to spend more time with her, but not too much? Because he liked her. He simply said that when she has some spare time, and he has some spare time, they should totally chat.
I think Cullen is kind of busy for all that sentimental stuff now, but maybe if you tell him that it's important for you to talk to somebody who you trust about something that worries you, maybe he'll be honored and flattered that you picked him
Age wise Cullen could go to badarse daddy type for me but I think his romance will be rather sweet and maybe he will be shoulder to learn on. That would be nice for change, for me it seemed like Warden and Hawke were always that shoulder but didnt get much comfort themselves.Lol to clarify my earlier question, this is after Cullen is romanced. It's in reference to the different types of romances that were stated by the devs such as the "shoulder to lay on" or "badarse daddy" types. ;3
Really? Cuz to me it seemed as though he were sincere in his offer to the f!mage in origins in case she really needed someone to talk to. Even if it were to be in the case of him wanting to spend time with her, I'm more than positive he would be more than willing to hear her out if she had any issues.
It was kind of like this:

Cullen: OH NO DON'T WORRY you can always talk to me, it's ok!
He said that in response to her suggestion that she was distracting him I don't think their relationship, if you can call it that, was at the stage where it would be ok to offer a shoulder for crying on it. Such things require a deep emotional connection, imho, and Cullen, although he liked f!Mage, still tried to keep her at a safe distance. He wanted to be friends, I think. Until Uldred kicked that out of him.

So I had a weird/sad dream last night; I dreamed we (the Cullen thread) were all hanging out together; it was a sort of reunion, and everyone brought their boyfriends... you all brought Cullen!!! LOL Just like fifteen copies of Cullen roaming about the auditorium. And I was wondering who my boyfriend would be, only to learn it was Iron Bull. I was so upset. Probably hurt Bull's feelings
