My husband liked Cullen in Origins. Now he doesn't, because he doesn't like this new pretty face. The face kind of became boring, I must agree with him.
He also asked me, "Why are you forcing that pretty Estonian dude meme?" about DAI Cullen, and I tried to explain why Cullen is a BAMF, and that he's like Commander Shepard mixed with Viggo Mortensen, mixed with Captain Blood, mixed with Don Quixote, mixed with Obi-Wan Kenobi, and he just had an unfortunate nosejob. And that we are not forcing anything, we are fangirling, lol.
He also challenged me to draw Cullen with a bowl cut, and shaven, next time I draw him in something historically accurate  My husband loves to troll me.

Yeah I know! I'm so lost right not.......

Avejajed posted something about it, right? I don't see the post anymore so either it's gone or she blocked me. *shrugs* R2 posted a few pages back so she isn't gone, I don't think? At least I really hope not! :(

My boyfriend mocks me by fangirling right beside me. He literally jumped up and down when we first watched the "Lead Them or Fall" trailer, pointing and screaming "Oh my god! It's Cullen! In a lion helm!" Then calmly sat back down to watch the rest of the trailer. Totally took the wind out of my sails, the jerk lol.

Um I don't think you can do that...

I haven't heard about R2 leaving, for the record.

That's why I'm confused because there is no mention of it except for all the "what?" on the previous page.

My husband was playing LoL on his computer, so no mocking comes from that part of the house when I get excited about my games.

Lol its just a thing we do to each other. He will come home on a Monday and ask me to guess how much sales the company made the previous week and I will always say some ridiculous amount like $700,000.00 when really I know it will be something around $200,000.00 just to take him down a peg

I didn't think you could, that's why I was confused. And good!

When my boyfriend DOES express any emotion about my DA fangirl tendencies, which is usually just confusion as to why I care so much, I say 3 words: Metal. Gear. Solid. He shuts right up! Haha. He loves that series to pieces.

I love lurking in this thread. You here are consistently the nicest, most respectful, just a little bit crazy (but when has that ever been a flaw) gathering of people on this forum. I don't say a lot here, but this is where I spend most of my time if I'm on the BSN. If there's any news, you guys eventually discuss it, and in the meantime I get to look at Cullen (who I will love with every fiber of my little elven heart).

Been working with an idea for a little Lavellan (who will be my main Inquisitor) and Cullen "one-shot". I've always wanted to do a full fanfiction of my Warden and Hawke, and no doubt I will feel the same about my Inquisitor, but I never seem to find the time. I am currently working on editing the fifty-five chapter, over nine hundred page, book I wrote (and I only mention the specifics because I am rightly proud of it, considering it took me five years), and I feel I have little time to pour my focus into a project like that. But I might work on some short fics. And post them. I would love to share things with you. Everyone here is very encouraging :D

*cough*A little shameless self promotion*cough* If any of you lovely people would be interested, you can read the Prologue of my original work on my website: HERE or HERE. I would love more constructive feedback, and more eyes to take a look. The rest of the Chapters, while posted, are password protected and not available at this time.

Mine keeps asking if he can make a board somewhere on here called "Officially Rejected Spouses of Cullenites Thread." Your hubs is totes invited. ;)

He would totally join that! Though the title would have to change every couple of years. Not too long ago it would have been "Officially Rejected Spouses of Thane Fangirls Thread"  :D  Poor guys.

Just out of curiosity because I'm not sure if any other countries do this, but do any of you do mo-vember in November?

It just occurred to me that I could in theory, romance Cullen with a Templar (assuming that specialization is available and it looks as if it might be on the DA site - the familiar icon is visible). Perhaps you could even learn it from him. That could be interesting.

What's mo-vember? Should I know what that is?

Now I'm afraid I live in the same country as you and I'm missing out on something huge...

I love the idea of the advisers and companions interacting in the Keep. I wonder who Cullen will get along with best? I could imagine him being wary of Cole. He might have banter with Varric about Kirkwall? I could see him and Cassandra getting along well.

I think Cullen would get along with both Cassandra and Blackwall. I think he'd be wary of Solas, Cole, and likely Dorian also.

I actually see him struggling to get along with Vivienne. Even though she's pro-circle, she's also apparently highly manipulative and political. I see her and Cullen having major personality clashes, regardless of views they might share. I don't think (especially after all he's been through) Cullen would trust a manipulator, and I don't think Vivienne would have much patience for Cullen's (presumable) lack of interest or skill in The Game.

I don't partake in it, but it happens in Canada too.

My exact feelings, lol. Enlighten us, Boom! ^_^

Oh um *cough* I live in the US. I've heard of something similar where guys grow beards, but I can't remember which month it is that they do. Bioware did the mustache thing. Last year, I remember the pics and the voting for who had the best one, lol. I didn't know it was called mo-vember though so now I feel like a moron, haha. Good fun, I'm sure! And a great cause! Sadly, I lack facial hair growing abilities. :(

You mean, getting moustache and donating money? No, Russians don't do that.

It's a thing in the US. Don't know if it's big in all the states, but here in the Midwest, I see a lot of it.

Ah. I live in the US. Though I do know that guys take their beards very serious here, I haven't actually heard of mo-vember. They might do it here. I just don't keep up on trends very well.

R2 is away at the moment, if that's what you mean? I don't think she's left permanently though, lol.

I'll check.

In the US I've mostly heard it called No Shave November.
