Probably the same age as myself, which is 27.
Definitely NOT the same age as me... that would put my inquisitor in the same category as Wynne! ![]()

Btw how old is Cullen said to be? Or do we just have a certain age range? If I had to guess, maybe late 30s early 40s.

When this comes up we usually arrive at 35 ish.
Thanks. I figured he would at least be in his mid to late 30s condidering all the time that has passed since I last saw him in the broken circle quest to when he helped take down Meredith.
Yeah he died at age 33 because of an illness, but he is regarded as one of the greatest military leaders in history so I think he did a lot for himself for the time he was a leader. The guy conquered the Persian empire, became king of Macedon, encouraged working with the people he conquered like the Persians. His empire broke apart when he died though. I gather that his death was unexpected so no successor was named to lead the army into Europe. So yeah, pretty interesting stuff about young leaders.

Just finished watching Frozen with my mom...Spoilers under tag:
Spoiler
He would definitely be my #1 military leader throughout history. He had pretty much conquered most of the ancient world by the time of his death. I think his death was unexpected but Im not quite sure what the cause was, there are a lot of different theories ranging from liver disease to typhoid to being poisoned.
Most sources that I have read on him descibe his illness as a fever, but I cannot for the life of me right now remember what it was called.
To add on to the age question what personality/tone (direct, clever, and diplomatic) is everybody's inquisitor going to have or will you have he/she just say whatever depending on the situation?

Historically a lot of burgeoning Empires or alliances fell apart due to the sudden death of the leader, leading to the power struggle as the various factions tried to assert their claims. We've got some of the top people in Thedas working for us and with vastly different goals, it'd be easy to see them fracturing in a leadership crisis. It'd be interesting if we maybe had the option to address this sort of thing and who we'd want to lead the Inquisition if we failed or were killed?
Alternatively, I'd love to see another Darkspawn Chronicles type of DLC where the Inquisitor was either killed from the Breach or at a vital point in the game, leading to an AU where everything goes horribly wrong. (Or I'll just fanfic the hell out of that premise after the game comes out).

I remember reading one of the devs responding to a tweet asking if the demons can win and the response was something like "Yea, but that would be bad." Not sure whether they were serious or not what with all their teasing ways. ![]()
Edit: On the backup leader to the Inquisition I vote Cole just to see how things would go... In all seriousness though Cassandra seems like a great choice considering there was a trailer of her leading a charge which is something I hope happens in game.

I could see Cassandra being a great leader if you're able to soften her during the game, but I think the reason she didn't lead from the off is because she's aware that she might end up creating just another Templar Order down the line due to her forceful personality and slightly negative views of Mages.
Cullen might be an interesting choice now he's stopped taking grief from everyone and come into his own, although his own issues with Mages might cause him to recreate the Templars, even if his intentions are good for wanting to reform the order.
Cole would be hilarious though, specially if he ended up leading with Leliana. Prince and Princess Stabbity-Stabbity FTW! ![]()
I just read that Zev can show up in the last battle in DA:2 to help you fight Meredith... I never knew this!
He can! Also, so can Nate Howe.

You didn't know that? Yeah, just free him during that Act 3 quest and he'll show up.
Not that you'll be able to tell, because it's a clusterduck of epic proportions for that fight. Too many sprites! But, yeah, he pops in and does stabbing and stuff.
Nathaniel Howe will, too.
