*snip*

this is the last one, I promise.  :P  So, discussion. Lets revisit this one; How do you think Cullen will react to seeing a Qunari Inquisitor?

I'm not too sure to be honest. It might be a bit of a shock to see a qunari/vashoth that's not part of the Qun and probably nothing he'll expect considering what happened in Kirkwall. And then you have to consider possibly a mage or even female (has he or many people seen a female qunari before?) on top of that.

I'll have to think about it some more. What about you Kat?

I think he might react.... adversely. A Qunari leading the charge to fix something that has gone wrong, is the exact opposite of what he has experienced. At the very least, I think we can expect him to be suspicious of a QunQuisitor, especially if they are a mage.

I got the impression from the trailer that the inquisitor regardless of race would be treated with suspicion at first, never consider the added difficulty when you do add race to it. It will be definitely interesting.

It has been stated that certain races and/or class will get different reactions from NPCs but does that include companions/advisors? and does it effect your approval rating (like can some approvals increase slower based on the characters personal beliefs/biases etc)?

I think initially he'd be rather alarmed.

After the first sighting, though, I think he'd calm down and be okay. Cullen's issues with the Qunari seem to be more religious and political than racial. It might be hard for him to process someone who looks "Qunari" but isn't part of the Qun, but I think once he got used to the idea he'd be okay with the Inquisitor as long as they were compatible in morals.

I doubt Cullen has seen many qunaris in his life so qunari's in Kirkwall might be his only experience with qunaris and that surely wasn't good one: first these big and strong humanoids who are army being in city and then them attacking it and killing lof of people? Yep, probaply not that good experience with the race XD So I'd imagine him being first intimidated and prejudiced but later on letting go of that when he gets to know qunari Inquisitor better and realises qunaris are individuals as well :)

Will we be able to take a position other than "BOTH SIDES ARE BAD" on the mage/templar conflict in inquisition?

Yep!

Surely the least that suggests is we can be pro-mage/pro-templar.

It's not exactly confirmed. Patrick confirmed that we can take a side on mages or templars. The way the question was worded an responded might mean that we can choose to not support either...but I woudn't be sure by that tweet alone.

I imagine it's a Quarian/Geth affair, where you can clamp down on hard-line elements on both ends and get the moderates to accept.

Maybe family will be able to visit the Circle, the ability to go into towns and meet people. Just small things, the ability to learn.

I am SO glad to see that. Both sides can be crazy asshats, so it'll be nice not to have to pick one brand of crazy over another. :D

I hope DAI isn't too focused to templar and mage issue. I wouldn't like to be forced in the same kind of situation than in DA2 ^^; Most of my Wardens and Hawkes have been like me about the issue: pretty neutral so I hope that really means we don't have to pick the side from two bads anymore :)

Actually, this says that we can side either with mages or templars. Nothing about staying impartial about the conflict, if I understood correctly, though I hope there is this option. I'm awfully indecisive person who needs middle options :D

Yep!

It's kind of a weird question. We've always been able to take a position other than "both sides are bad"- that's nothing new. We've been choosing to either side with the templars or the mages.

It's the "both sides are bad"- position we've never been able to take, or specifically the position of "both sides are bad so screw you all".

I'm not sure what to make of that. I feel the question can be read either way and I'm more in line with Potato Cat in thinking it means we can go pro-templar or pro-mage. Hopefully I'm reading it wrong and we can find a middle ground int he conflict.

Which is kind of nice. I loved being able to talk all the time to my companions, but I did get annoyed a bit if I got in a hurry.

*Click*

Alistair: Something you need, m'dear?

Me: #$%@$! Yes. I need you to get the eff out of the way so I can loot that emissary.

Oh god so many times this!

I ended up having chats in really odd world locations so many times due to trying to loot <_<

Surely that just means that we can side with one or the other, rather than saying "you're both extreme so bugger off" kinda thing?

Honestly, I'm not sure PW's tweet really indicates much of anything. The person who sent him the tweet really needed to be more specific.

Hi Cameron! Are you showing 3 different demos at SDCC or 1 demo, 3 times? And will it be a new demo(s) or the one shown at E3?

Cameron Lee ‏@Cameron__Lee
At G&S we're showing E3 code on PC with controller (we'll show PC interface another time). At MS it's E3 code on XBox One.

Well, that answers that!
