Technically I should be a rogue given my real life lock picking skills, ability to disappear quickly when needed and escape from locked room via windows and stuff, but yeah she'll be a mage just because I'm curious to see how a mage is treated and I wanna know how Cullen will react to romancing one.

:o ...There's a story here, somewhere

I know what you mean. My first inquisitor is very serious; my goofy one isn't until my second playthrough. I hope I can actually play him that way. I really want their personalities to be different since they'll be the same gender and race.

I think the 4 voice actors available will help make each one feel different, but I'd hope that the Inquisitor in general does have some personality shining through via the dialogue, that's something I liked about Hawke, even if some of the stuff he/she would say was completely inappropriate or weird sometimes.

I don't think we'll be from Ansburg or Wycome purely because those are the ones I think Vivienne is likely to have originated from. For me, Markham and Ostwick are the two main contenders.

My hair is pink right now, so... the battle has already been lost lol

I would loooove to give my inquisitor cool hair colors; I love doing that in Dragon's Dogma. I have an Arisen with blue hair and one with pink hair.

Well, they're looking into letting us have unnatural eye colours, so we might get lucky!

I could be wrong about this, but I could've sworn it was confirmed that you will not be a Keeper??

That'd be news to me. Most Dalish mages are either a Keeper or a First, aren't they?

I'll take Ostwick then lol

Perhaps our family is from there too!

Oh I assumed that we were just born and (Circle) raised in the same city. Good point.

My first playthrough is going to be a self insert, because I don't want to mess up my Dalish mage, that will probably be my canon
I'll probably choose the closest thing to a bookish historian/librarian.

My second will be Laurelin my Dalish mage she's quiet and mysterious.Surprisingly open minded and has a wild streak. Most people in her clan believe she's cursed.

My third will be Aidan,a spoiled passionate nobleman, who is secretly a hopeless romantic and loves to paint.

Fourth is Jarnsaxa, female qunari rogue with a will of iron and incredible leadership skills.Loves power, but is reasonable and just.

Fifth is Harald,my dwarf warrior and he is based on Thorin Oakenshield, nuff said.

Laurelin <3

First for me is Auren Lavellan, archer, all around serious guy, shem-hater, mage-distruster, Dalish-supporter.

Second is Kael Lavellan, mage, happy-go-lucky warrior-scholar, curious about the world, friendly towards everyone, but don't underestimate his ass-kicking abilities.

Third is Adela Trevalyan (please forgive me Adela; I love the name!!), S&S warrior, fierce Valkyrie, no-nonsense "Let's get this done" kind of gal, and lover of blond city elves.

Fourth is Aliss Cadash, DW rogue, lovably snarkish, rabble-rouser, "I'll get to this inquisition stuff when I'm damned well good and ready!"

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards playing as a human first, although I was trying to avoid that because I always end up playing as a human. I kinda like the idea of head canon-ing that despite coming from nobility the Trevelyan family disowned my Inquisitor because they were ashamed or something since she was the first "magika" born into the family and they feared that if word got out then it would bring shame on their previously pure bloodline or some crap like that. That way I could play my character as someone with no airs or graces (although Alix Wilton Regan's accent does sound a little posh, but then I suppose people do say that mine does too and I come from a pretty rough area lol).

Yes,the only Dalish mage we've seen so far, that wasn't a Keeper nor a first, was Elora from Zathrian's clan, who tends the halla.

And all of whom will be romancing Cullen? That would be...awkward.  :P

Just like my dream I had!

It's a shame that I can't play as a city Elf, I really wanted to be one of those this time around.

To be fair, most of yous Southerners sound posh to me. Unless you're like a full on Cockney or Essexer or something.

I headcanoned that my guy accidentally burned down his family's entire estate when he manifested, killing his family.

Inappropriate!douche!Hawke is best Hawke!

And that's right, I totally forgot about the two voices!!! Jon Curry has a nice evenly-pitched voice, and I heard the other guy in the videos and it wasn't bad, so I can definitely use both. Probably English for my serious elf, and American for my funny elf.

Yes, so I think we'll be a First. (A person can have magic and not be a mage among the Dalish though. The halla keeper was a mage, I believe, for the Sabrae Clan.

I think that's a good idea for you because if you play as an elf there will be some elf-specific dialogue and plot stuff that might take you out of your self-insert mindset.

Maybe I can head canon that I was supposed to be the Keepers first, but I ran away because the Dalish are bunch of douches LOL!

Oh, I don't mind that. I mean, I'm Elven height anyway and my ears a little pointy so I could probably work with that LOL!

That's great; my headcanons are lame so far. Kael Lavellan got bored and wanted to explore the world. Gripping stuff!

Weird because I headcanoned for mine that she seriously burned herself when her powers manifested. I want her parents to be alive, and just a proper daddy's girl. Even if her family has disowned her because I like my characters to be delusional.
