I found that whole cereal tweeting thing to be painful, tbh. Personally, if I was him I'd start getting a tad annoyed having every other tweet I made turned into a Cullen related joke.

 

What I meant by the thing you quoted is that a good number of us were getting favorited and retweeted and responses from GE, and Adeala's comments on tweets were respectful. A good number of us were hoping she would get one too because at that time he seemed to be responding often. 

 

 

I probably would get annoyed with that too, thus why *scans all tweets i've ever made* there's maybe one, arguably two.

On a more on-topic note, that's kind of why I don't care whether they make Cullen straight or bi. I'm not going to fixate on my digital avatar's plumbing when I am so indifferent about my own.

So a question for the true Cullen fans.

 

If it turns out how it seems and Cullen will NOT be a companion but more an NPC like Trynor or Cortez will that kinda kill it for you?  Just wondering since even if they give you allot of content it will still take away from party banter and the like which is some of the cutest moments in DA games.  (like Isabela teasing Merrill about naked Hawke for example)

 

I have to answer this or else I'm not a "true Cullen fan" so here goes. 

 

I'll be a little sad that the banter is missing, but a lot of that could still take place in-house, as it were, if he's stationed at our base with other characters, so there's still hope.

 

For me, having Cullen as a... what I'd call a non-follower party member (like Joker or Traynor or Cortez) really isn't much different from say DAII's Merrill for me. It's like you're here and I talk to you but you don't go anywhere with me anyway.

 

It also leaves a space in the party for another really cool character that could blow our minds, so I'm optimistic!

Hey I might PM you from time to time if you don't mind  Never met anyone like myself.

 

I love love love love being a boy in games. But it's only partly for identity purposes; I'm also a writer, and I happen to think boys are cuuuuute, so I love writing them lol I do have girl characters, but they're usually supporting character (main character best friend, for example). I had to set aside a novel I'd started because I couldn't get into the female main's head, urgh.

While we are moving fast, we've had this thread open for a couple of weeks now. We are only 3/10ths of the way to 1000. Once we hit 750ish, then I'd start to get worried.

Actually about the 1000 page celebration.. what you guys usually do for those? I haven't ever participated in one..

 

 

Fanfiction, colorful imagery, art, a cullen-based drink, cupcakes, etc have been commonly done in the past. There's no real requirement as to what to do. 

The theme of "Raunchy" is just a suggestion to spur ideas, you don't need to follow it by any means.

It's not offensive, and I don't know the proper term either I'm still trying to figure out who and what I am.

Dating was always hard b/c it put me in that "girl" role, and I felt so uncomfortable. This has been with me all my life, to be honest. It's a little personal to talk about, but who cares, it's a (mostly) anonymous forum lol Since I was a kid I prayed I would not hit puberty, that there would be something wrong with me. I didn't want boobs or a period or the ability to have children. When puberty hit, I prayed I would be found infertile or something weird like that. As a child I declared I would never marry, even though I guess I didn't understand why the thought of marriage bothered me at the time. So all of that, everything that makes a person feel inside like they're a certain gender, I don't have that. I feel like myself, but it's taken 30 years to realize that myself isn't like most people. And ironically, I'm finally able to accept that I'm in a female body, and just last year I started wearing dresses (yes, for the first time). I sort of accept that this body is female, and it's okay to dress it as such (within reason... I don't wear heels because it makes me feel sick and false and feminine). But I also dress "like a boy" especially during summer. I wear long cargo shorts, a football/soccer jersey, and men's flip flops, lol This is my favorite thing to wear, and it's what makes me feel like "me" the most.

 

The fact that I like boys and not girls is, imo, completely separate from all of that.

 

That's pretty much how I feel as well. I was pretty fortunate that the UK is pretty accepting in general and my family are cool and let us express ourselves in whatever way we wanted (providing it doesn't hurt anyone etc). So, like Berelinde I just do what I want and dress however I feel comfortable. I still hate wearing dresses though, the only time I can wear them without feeling like I'm in drag is if I'm horrendously drunk... which is a good enough reason for me to get rat arsed, I guess!

Well at first I didn't mind him being an NPC I actually thought it fit his character better. But then somebody brought up something interesting I think it was LolaLei but I'm not entirely sure. The person said that although they appreciated Cullen being an LI, that wasn't the only thing they wanted. They wanted to see Cullen's reaction to actions and events while traveling because that would add more depth into Cullen and show more of his character. This perplexed me because I completely agree. It reminded me of the exact reason why I actually want Cullen in the game because I want to get to know his character and his what he really thinks of certain actions and events. I'm gonna have to say that I want him to be a companion now for that reason... and party banter would be fun.

I wear them to work only. They make me feel like... like I'm in "work mode" I guess? I'm like a super hero putting on my costume. Which you sometimes have to feel like when stepping in front of a classroom lol You have to become someone else.

Although heels are probably a deal breaker, I would much rather be stuck in a dress than a suit. They're hot (Texas here again), uncomfortable, and YOU CAN'T TWERK IN SUIT PANTS.

If you have a long project, don't rush it, you could always use it for 2000. Maybe give a teaser for 1000, or a smaller project. Don't rush perfection!
