Maybe he'll get along with Solas, he's the wandering sort too, isn't he?
Wow, you're reading my mind!
Yes he's going to really look up to Solas as a sort of mentor-type (Kael will be my youngest quizzy, say early 20s).

Well, I had initially planned to cosplay a genderbent Vivienne at GaymerX, but wasn't able to attend this year.
I would have LOVED to have seen that.

It's weird, my me!Warden was 19 in DA:O which is a lot younger than me (even when I first played it), but by the time DAI kicks off she's gonna be WAY older than me... strange thought!

Aha... I've always been older than my DA characters; Wardens were in their teens and Hawke was 25... though I guess by the end s/he was mid-30s.
I should probably make Auren older than late 20s since he's kind of my me-quisitor. I don't know why though but an over 30 elf makes me sad ![]()

Yeah, I was so happy to have her cosplay kit released, cause it made the job a lot easier.
Now, though, I'm thinking about doing Bull perhaps. I have height and shoulders lol. Either way, hopefully he gets a character kit. Hopefully, they release kits for some of the male companions.

Please share if you do! I imagine you'd have to do a sort of helmet for those massive horns... but d'aww think of the poofy pants and pointy shoes you'd get to wear!
Lol,I also headcanoned that she's a shapeshifter, before learning about the specializations. And her furry transformation whenever there's a full moon!

My Inquisitor will be my age, 28 seems a good age since all the other companions seem roughly that age or older being that they're experienced 'n' sh!t... it's funny though because they all look older than I do (with the except of Sera), so my Inquisitor is gonna look younger than she actually is... I guess that's realistic too since I don't look my age either.

Oh, I definitely will share! Figuring out the helmet is gonna be hard though. And I'd probably have to shave off my head lol

Shave off your head?! Don't do that, it'll be painful... unless you can grow another one? ![]()
Go for it!I'd love to do a genderbent Dorian, but I lack costume-making skills and I live on the other side of the ocean,so I can't attend the event anyway.Well, I had initially planned to cosplay a genderbent Vivienne at GaymerX, but wasn't able to attend this year.

Silly goose, I meant shave the hair off my head!
D'aww, guys. I had to share this with you. This was posted up by our comrades on the Varric board:
Thank you very much for that. Hopefully you've seen my shoutouts to the Cullenites. You guys took so much bullshit for about 5 years, and really stuck to your guns. So thanks for inspiring me to do the same.
The Cullenites actually made me reconsider my stance on Cullen. I've gone from wanting his head on a spike to thinking about making an inquisitor just for him. The wonders of a positive fandom I guess.

Someone Tweet a dev and ask if we can/can't be a Keeper; I really thought I heard/read that somewhere!

Woooo! Whirlwind of life over here in the Northwest of the US! I log on and missed so much Cullen speculation (granted I've seen it before but it inspires me to keep writing and all that!).... - Im wierd ok?! I did see some fabulous Cullen art though (wiggles eyebrows) - Many thanks to whoever posted that! Like many many thanks! And whoever drew it! I will make you cookies until you die! ![]()
I've been working on my fanfiction off and on, but Im so far behind because I have ADWD (I start writing and then I get more ideas so I make outlines... lots and lots of them). On the bright side, I now have lots and lots of outlines! ![]()
And in other news, I finally have like storyboards and concepts for my game that I've been working on for about 4 months now. Super proud of that, so I went and started a blog and everything yay me! I feel so nerd lyfe legit and stuff (really, Im weird... Im pretty sure I mentioned that). The only thing Im sad about is I can;t have Cullen in my game, because Bioware might get mad at me ![]()
And in other other news, I discovered how to make more smileys besides
and
Im soooo accomplished! I missed you guys!!! I am sending hugs to everyone! I love you and miss you and want to hold you and cuddle you and pet you and love you.... Ok, Ill stop now. ![]()
Well you guys are very positive. If I may speak candidly, I was expecting the sort of people who hold up *Edward* Cullen as a model of romance and that I'd find no place to discuss my mixed feelings. So many times, you must unreservedly adore a character and want to romance them to feel welcome. So I appreciate your generosity.
Speaking only from my perspective, I have seen the people here only be accepting of all levels of Cullen interest. One can even not like him and be welcome here so long as they are respectful and contribute to the discussion. I can't stand people who come in here just to drop their opinion - "I can't stand him" or "He's so boring and bland, I don't get why anyone likes him" - are a common attempt at "discussion". Then there are downright trolls.... *eyeroll* but someone who comes in here ready to offer their perspective and reasons about Cullen - good or bad - in a polite manner and is ready to discuss is A-ok in my book!
I don't mind offering an opposing opinion. What I DO mind is being attacked or belittled. And I'm not the most devout Cullenite! lol! I'm wary of what his new direction will be and want to see if/how his actions and lack of actions from DA2 addressed. And I was downright NOT a fan at the end of DAO. DA2 changed my mind about him a quite a bit! Not everyone has the same level of appreciation for Cullen and that's okay. You're fine. And I hope you always feel welcome here. ![]()
In my canon playthrough My Warden is around the same age as Morrigan and My Hawke was 25 years old.
wow, you guys have so many characters planned already. I don't. Not really. I just know that I'll prolly roll human the first time. 75% chance a mage. If not a rogue.
When playing a circle mage--like the warden--I always headcanon that my Fam loves me and was distraught that I had to go to the circle. But somehow managed to keep tabs.
When we got that promo stuff for Xmas one year for Dao and da2, it fit in perfectly with my headcanon. My Fam had heard abt me passing the harrowing and managed to bribe/smuggle in a sum various lil gifts for her. lol!
I need to more abt the backgrounds to get a better handle on what kinda character I'm rolling. I mean, even what circle would impact char. Is it like Kirkwall? An oppressive, abusive prison? That would shape my char.s worldview. Or was it a more open level circle?
As for rogue---well, I always like the snarky, noble rogue. Though a rogue w/ something like Sera's background--underground contacts and shady stuff--woulda been great fun.
That's all I know. And that I'm romancing Cullen the first PT.
And yes, I would like my noble to be from Wycome ![]()
"Widely regarded as the most free of the Free Marches, the revelry capital of Thedas is also the second-greatest importer of Antivan wine after Orlais - particularly impressive considering Wycome's population is less than a third of Val Royeaux."
The other places sound so stiff and /or boring.
I think Starkhaven coulda been rebuilt by now, too.
I dont have any quizzitors planned ![]()
I know what im like, as soon as i see the CC, my original plans will change entirely! Like in origins i really fancied an elf, but regardless of what i tried and how many times i played the intro i couldnt find one i liked. Then for giggles i rolled a dwarf commoner, warrior (usually my least liked class) and she was plain awesome! Loved her to bits!
So these days i stop myself from plotting until i actually get in game and get a feel for what would be fun ![]()
Disappointed abt there being no freckles in the CC,I must say.

YES! I knew I wasn't going crazy! Although sad for those who wanted to be a Keeper.
