You don't care much of taller woman then? ^^ For me I definitely want my lady qunaris to have someone much shorter than them Cullen for my mage qunari and Solas (or Varric) to my other one. I'm very worried of race-gating though.

It's not that, I guess I am just going by the other games, when the height differences in some scenes were a little off and a human female and male elf made the female very....ugh I hate this word, but manish. 

That's why I am happy that Iron Bull has been worked on hard to eliminate that problem and I plan to romance him with all races.

Yeah, for real. With them revealing that IB was originally going to be racegated because of size (until Epler to the rescue), that pretty much told us that size differences are an actual issue.

Oh yeah not all the time, that would just be weird, but yeah maybe the first time, then he grows in confidence a little more each time. Not just suddenly switch it off after the first flirt.

I can imagine that he would be a bit confused if the Inquisitor hits on him. I've got this mental image how she just returns after an important mission, runs into him in the hallway of the keep and starts flirting.

 

Inquisitor: I have been very much looking forward to see your face again, Cullen.

Cullen: Er... Well, thanks, I guess.

 

But I agree that it should only happen once or twice and maybe it shouldn't happen at all if Cullen is the one who initiates the flirting.

I don't have a problem with height differences--the DAO romance that's finally clicking for me is Aeducan/Alistair. But there's nothing about non-human backgrounds that are screaming "play me," and even less so with the non-human romances.

I'm confused. LOL. Because it sounds as if he didn't wear pants in the previous games and that's why we should be happy that they gave him a proper pair of pants for DAI. What did I miss  ?

Exactly what I'd always imagined. I was really surprised when people thought Cole would have been Orlesian.

Wasn't it suggested at some point in the book,that he Was Fereldan?It's been a while since I read Asunder,so I don't remember.

I'm not sure. I'd just assumed he was Ferelden due to his mother being Wynne and his name being Rhys. I know neither have any real bearing on what accent he'd have, they just would have made him being Orlesian sound odd,

I agree about Rhys,although I meant Cole.For some reason I have the impression that the book suggests that he's also Fereldan.

Probably if you pissed off the wrong Magister. You wouldn't even necessarily need Templars to do it. You just need a special lyrium brand.

Yes that's it!!I remembered something about his mother being Chasind,so I always assumed he was from Ferelden.But I didn't remember if it was indeed Cole the character I had in mind.Thanks for reminding me!

*shudder* Tevinter truly is a scary place. I'd like to have a mission there someday. It'd be really tense.
