If memory serves, Amanda was a brunette with green eyes. If not, she had light blonde hair. I think I've used the name Amanda more than once, (always liked it), but I can't quite remember which one I'm importing.

But this is getting to be a pretty common occurrence now. Another of my Hawkes has the same name as Lola. Looks nothing like her though.

If memory serves, Amanda was a brunette with green eyes. If not, she had light blonde hair. I think I've used the name Amanda more than once, (always liked it), but I can't quite remember which one I'm importing.

How do you think Cullen will get along with the other advisors? I know there are snippets on the main DA site about this, but I was wondering what others thought. Since Leliana apparently recruits Josephine, and they know each other well and work well together, do you think that Cullen will feel the odd man out?

 

I think I've read somewhere that Cullen and Josephine will disagree on how to handle things. I can see Cullen as someone who seeks a direct confrontation while Josephine is more patient. She will approach a more time consuming but diplomatic way. However, I believe that the difference of opinion between them is strictly professional. They will get along fine once all the important tasks are accomplished. As for Leliana, Cullen will probably respect her for her faith and devotion to the Maker. I'm wondering if he will recognize her if you had Leliana in the party during the Broken Circle quest in DAO.

I play as self inserts for the first run through as well but I generally don't use my name. I think it would of been a tad weird for DA2... I think I would of done something stupid like over pronounce the plural on Hawke everytime a character used it... it's actually a real life pet peeve on mine (I have many).

 

Anyway, I'm actually having trouble pronouncing the elf and human surnames in DAI. Do you think the companions etc will use the surnames much or be a bit more formal and call the PC Inquisitor?

 I hope they use the surnames more often than the title "Inquisitor". It's more personal that way .

That would be interesting. Do you think if he does, that would effect their relationship/interaction?

I would think he would know of her at least by being with the warden during the last blight.

I already decided the names for the humans (Gawain and Rebekah) elves (Fëanor, my first character, and Luthien) dwarves (Thorin and Arya) and the female qunari (Asaaranda). Choosing them can be complicated though .

I think that they'll recognize Leliana's presence (probably Morrigan too when they'll meet) in the tower regardless if they were or not in the party. Though the keep beta testers might have more info on the subject .

Personally, I love Lyra. Evokes a feeling of music. The name comes from Lyre, a medieval instrument. So it's totally period appropriate! Also, it's the name of a constellation of stars. It's a beautiful name.

I could imagine Leliana and Cullen getting into heated debates, especially now that Leliana has really toughened up. But, as you said, I don't see them arguing or being needlessly rude to each other. I suspect most disagreements will be work related.

 

That being said, I could see Leliana maybe telling Cullen/Josephine not to get too attached to the Inquisitor due to the nature of the job (if you're pursuing a romance with them) in a similar way to what Wynne did in DA:O, especially if your Warden died killing the archdemon and Leliana was romancing him/her at the time. I can't picture what Josephine's response would be (maybe a strongly worded letter, LOL!) But I could imagine Cullen being a bit up-tight and sharp in his response, knowing that the threat of the relationship going to hell or the Inquisitor/him getting killed is all to real, but not wanting to think about it.

She's supposed to be me, but I can't use my real name because that's the name of my Warden, LOL!
