Follower Friday thread was blowing up because they're mad the devs have started the follower friday thing but gave them nothing today. Also that they haven't established a timeline or schedule of the Fridays. Pretty close to downright hostile for some of them. S'why i came back here. Much nicer!

And I love the tone of the thread today-we're all so different and awesome, and yet we're all about acceptance and mellow love. This is what brought me to the thread, and what, I think, some of us were talking about yesterday. We can all be groovy and wunnerful together.

 

And Re: twerking in suit pants? What about a kilt? My hubby's a kilt wearer, so I will have to ask him. (And I will try to get photo of the face he'll make.  He dances not at all. *grin*)

Im still excited that he is a romance and sometimes cant keep my head straight at work lol cause i keep thinking about it lol but yea next week i will be doing so character modeling YAY super excited... altho they will be pretty low poly.. so gotta make the best of it I will post some screen shots  when im done, so far this week ive been doing only props. I saw your tweet Lola, if your willing to come to Germany then we might have a plan

Yeah, some of the entitlement in the Friday Follower thread was ridiculous. It's one thing to be curious and excited, it's another to be antagonistic towards the devs about it. Ugh. They have enough on their plates.

I think one of my teachers got pneumonia the same time as the guy who was meant to edit them. She is still in recovery I think. They've probably been cancelled.

Right? Its like simmer down over there! They will give us something when they're ready. They don't have to do anything butnthey choose to put info out for their fans but get all sorts of crap for not doing it fast enough or on a set schedule.

Yeah, identity is a nice thing, and femininity and masculinity are fine if they make you feel like "you" but stereotyping is never a good thing.

 

It goes a bit beyond that for me; I'm truly unhappy in this body and don't feel it represents me; it's one of the reasons I love the Asari; monogendered is exactly what I feel like. (Or more like no-gendered) My dream would be to be like Virginia Woolf's Orlando, just switching from one gender to the next Oh, or Le Guin's Left Hand of Darkness.

I know stereotyping leads to worse social prejudices and misconceptions,and I find it particularly sad when some people are forced to be social pariahs for being true to themselves or for their choices.
