Follower Friday thread was blowing up because they're mad the devs have started the follower friday thing but gave them nothing today. Also that they haven't established a timeline or schedule of the Fridays. Pretty close to downright hostile for some of them. S'why i came back here. Much nicer!

I see this all the time in the classroom; students getting snickered at by other students, especially students who look or act differently. It's frustrating. Interestingly, I have had one trans student (that I know of) and everyone was super cool to him. I think when it comes to sexuality younger people tend to be very accepting and friendly. But when it comes to acting outside the norm (like a nerdy goth girl I had in class once, boy did she get some snickers), it's not so easy.

Slightly on topic -- I have Liara on my office hours sign, and that strikes up loads of ME and DA conversations with random students, which is always awesome Probably pretty cool to learn your teacher plays video games!

Hey guys, hows it going any news about Cullen yet? Im still excited that he is a romance and sometimes cant keep my head straight at work lol cause i keep thinking about it lol but yea next week i will be doing so character modeling YAY super excited... altho they will be pretty low poly.. so gotta make the best of it I will post some screen shots  when im done, so far this week ive been doing only props. Yeah, identity is a nice thing, and femininity and masculinity are fine if they make you feel like "you" but stereotyping is never a good thing.

 

It goes a bit beyond that for me; I'm truly unhappy in this body and don't feel it represents me; it's one of the reasons I love the Asari; monogendered is exactly what I feel like. (Or more like no-gendered) My dream would be to be like Virginia Woolf's Orlando, just switching from one gender to the next Oh, or Le Guin's Left Hand of Darkness.

 

I've personally been unhappy in my body as well. But it's a tad different for me. I've always felt more comfortable identifying as male than female, but both and neither fit me, same for my sexual preferences, and it tends to confuse people. So I usually use neutral umbrella terms, though genderqueer seems the best fit.

 

Eitherway.. one of my fave gender-neutral characters is Desire from Neil Gaiman's Sandman comics.

Don't even get me started on the AWKWARDNESS of men's restrooms. The grossness I've unfortunately accepted.... but the awkward social requirements in there..... *shivers*

lol i cant speak German either i only know how to count form 1 to 10 lmao, but the game will be in English so yea, also your in EU right? U should be able to  travel with you ID card from what Ive heard.. idk tho will check it out

The only time I can understand a little bit of anger over something is if they were absolutely promised something left and right by the devs and it didn't occur. But they weren't even guaranteed anything for THIS Friday. They need to take about 30 chill pills, curl up in a nice warm blankey, and hibernate for another week....

I've heard a lot about Desire! I intend to read those some day.... when they aren't so expensive, haha

Really? I've always been told that most Germans actually refuse to speak in English. I even tried to converse once with Germans in English but they simply refused.

The music's a little cheesy, but I used to love Emma Shapplin

 

Also Loreena McKennitt and Anuna, but those are very mellow and Anuna is traditional, not cool symphonies like what you posted.
