I have a question. In some article or interview (I forget which) they said that Cassandra had recruited Cullen into the Inquisition after seeing how well he dealt with the situation in Kirkwall after Meredith's death. Can anyone remember what article/interview it was?

Really hoping it is the new IP and not the TOR expansion like some are speculating. Looks like a horror, a genre bioware hasn't done before and i've always wanted Bioware to tackle something along the lines of the Cthulhu Mythos and with this website possibly connected, colour me excited.
lol I nearly had a heart attack when I saw this in my inbox...I thought I finally got into the keep *hopes dashed* lol
I thought I made it in the Keep too. 
I actually yelled before clicking on the mail. Can you imagine my disappointment once I clicked on the mail?

Inception is one of my favorite movies to this day. I'm excited to learn more about it!

OMG. SOMEONE LIKE ME! I am with you on the horror movie front. People are like "Oh it's just a movie it's not real" which is true but with the way the world is now, I wouldn't be surprised at all if something like I am legend or Contagion or something happened. Lol but anyway don't mind me I'm crazy.
I don't like horrors, but I love thrillers. I can always turn my head if something bloody happens, but if it's a thriller or mystery, I'm all for it. And this is about dreams! Or... Nightmares. But I'm definitely interested

I'm a bit clueless about Mythos/Cthulhu, I'll have to google it. My passion for RPGs started when I was 12 and my older brother needed another played for his DnD group which mostly focused on Forgotten Realms (our DM though created mostly his own campaigns)... thats how I met Bioware ... love my DnD

Achievements are fake. You can see the background pattern doesn't match the one in Origin, like the part of it was duplicated to insert the achievement section. So you can all relax now

The pattern on the "leaked" shot is the same above and below the achievement section. In reality it doesn't duplicate like that.
I must apologize, and take my words back. I took a screenshot in wrong resolution. And in the right resolution everything seems correct. So it may be real, or may be photoshopped better
I only don't understand why achievements for the Russian version are in English. Some of you may remember how I was swearing and beating my head against EA Russia wall, because our localized version had not a single English word in it. So it's either a fake, or someone screwed up a bit, updating Origin, and used the wrong files, lol. Kind of starting to think the leak is legit.
Ooooh, I know! The fade looks so much better in DAI. I couldn't stand it in DAO. I'm replaying it now for platinum on my boyfriend's name and I'm doing the broken circle quest, the fade: lost in dreams, Ughh. I don't really know what specific thing about it that I don't like, I just don't like it at all. I've never brought Shale before, so I'm doing that now to see what her nightmare/dream is.

So I've been doing a rough outline of my fic for page 3000 and I want some opinions.
I'm not basing my fic on what I think Cullen will be like, but on what could be a possible scenario due to his capture and torture in Kinloch.
Is it unreasonable to think he may have an aversion to intimate touch after the lengths the desire demon may have gone to to try and tempt him into succumbing? I don't imagine him having the appropriate means to fully work through something like that over the years and maybe just pushed it aside instead of dealing with it.
I hardly think this would be the case in-game but hey, it's just a little story

The character wants something badly but he has trouble to get it. His inner demons prevent him from reaching his goal. Therefore, he has to fight his inner demons/ his deepest fears In order to get what he wants. As a result the character changes - hence character development.
With that in mind, I think it is very likely that Cullen's torture in the Ferelden circle has some impact on him. How it affects him depends on the story you want to tell. If your story is about Cullen's desire to be intimate with someone, it makes a lot of sense that he actually has an aversion to intimate touch. He wants the intimacy, but he can't manage to break the metaphorical wall around him. He has to struggle to reach his goal and he has to overcome his aversion at one point. To see this struggle is the interesting part of the story.
Not sure if this is the answer you were looking for. Anyway, I hope I could help a bit .

Love me some AD&D aswell. Can utterly recommend checking the Mythos out iff you enjoy TT'ing.
My love of RPG's came from my mum definately. She used to sit me on her lap as a lit'lun while she played her text based adventure games and would read to me the first choose your own adventure books as a toddler. I was indoctrinated from a young age lol
And to stay on topic, have another one of my dubious Cullenshop offerings.
On that note, I'm glad Cullen doesn't meet the stereotypical knight in shinning armour... well he doesn't for me.
