Luckily August is only 5 days away! Trying to play DAO but I always fall into the same habits and choices... November can't come quick enough!

 

I literally can't play DAO or DA2 in full anymore, I've played them to the point where I've burnt myself out on them. They only time I play now is to gather up clips for my videos!

As for spoilers, I know how people feel.  A lot ruined DA2 for me, but now I am extra careful.  And my memory sucks too hehe.

Origins stands at 13 and DA2 is at 17, and that's it for me too. I do sometimes dream I'm playing one or the other, especially DA2, but maybe that's just me.  It's like sometimes I dream about smoking...I'll never do that again, either.

I've never beaten origins, but Ive been playing it for three years O_O I have this problem where I just can't finish things because I don't want them to end :'( As soon as I get to the final battle I start over. I havent even played awakening and some of the DLC....I have a lot to do before DAI comes out ^^

I keep having these sudden moments of realisation where it hits home that we can actually romance and get to know Cullen... I mean, obviously I've been aware of this for some time and it's all been officially confirmed etc, but whenever I see a new piece of fanart of him, or when I have to write up notes on him for a video or whatever I get a brief flash of "OMG HOLY SH!T, IT'S REALLY HAPPENING" excitement, lol!

 

I also get it at the thought of actually playing DAI everytime we get a month closer to the games release.

I keep having these sudden moments of realisation where it hits home that we can actually romance and get to know Cullen... I mean, obviously I've been aware of this for some time and it's all been officially confirmed etc, but whenever I see a new piece of fanart of him, or when I have to write up notes on him for a video or whatever I get a brief flash of "OMG HOLY SH!T, IT'S REALLY HAPPENING" excitement, lol!

 

I also get it at the thought of actually playing DAI everytime we get a month closer to the games release.

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one going through this. I have not been this excited for a game since an MMO I used to play was in its final stretch before release. (It was Everquest 2, so what, ten years?)

Him not wanting to romance a mage on the other hand would be more understandable but we already know that there is no class gating so I don't think anyone needs to be concerned about that.

 

Personally, I'm still feeling pretty cautious about the possibility. Romances don't appear to be class-gated, but that doesn't necessarily mean a romance with a mage PC would be equal. It might go more in a hate sex direction, or Cullen could agree to give it a try but then dump your Inquisitor when it starts to get uncomfortable for him, and so on. No class-gating doesn't necessarily mean a positive romantic relationship with the Inquisitor.

 

That said, Cullen is quite literally trusting any PC with the fate of the world by accepting them as leader of the Inquisition, so he has to have at least some degree of openness to mages at this point.

I'm going to be so overwhelmed with excitement when I actually start playing.

That's so damn weird. Fire and Ice Magic have NEVER been split up, and they sure as hell have never had an entire tree to each element. And where in the world are the lightning spells? The Earth spells?

And entropy! I had believed the 'discord' tree was entropy (and still would given the name if it weren't for all the flames in the skill icons). Everything seems very weird in the mage trees so far. Maybe the nature spells are in the green star/flower tree?

I have seen an Entropy tree. It's the skull looking one. I think Primal spells fit into that green tree on the far left, in the picture above. The green tree on the far right is Creation magic, I believe.

I have seen an Entropy tree. It's the skull looking one. I think Primal spells fit into that green tree on the far left, in the picture above. The green tree on the far right is Spirit magic, I believe.

Which skull one? The green far right on the last pic is definitely spirit.
